OOC: Look like I have missed the first big fight scene. I think I should specify a
deflaut action - (I fire one arrow per round and I'll try to stay out of harms way.)
/OOC
I'll climb up into the rope trick area too.

Ah, I see... haven't seen you around much.

So now having downloaded OpenRPG how does it work?

Quite simple actually. You warm it up and look for a server. Find the server you want, and you pop into a panel which has a battle grid, dice roller, character sheet links, etc, as well as a chat window. (BTW, you have to download the files from BOTH the base Python installer and the Python wx installer for OpenRPG to work.)

Keenan climbed behind Tsroth in the Rope Trrick-room.
"Watch is ok for me, from inside. Should work. I personally just like my 8 hours of sleep. so I can fully refresh my spells..."

Grozny climbs up into the portal.
"I'll take last watch, I need some sleep first." Grozny mumbles as he nods off.

Malakar rubs his eyes wearily once inside the bubble.. "I must meditate, friends. I have had little rest for the past week and I am near collapse." With that, Malakar sits down heavily and begins breathing very slowy.

Griz prepares to take the first watch. "I need only two hours of sleep - thanks to my ring of sutenance. The wizards may rest to regain their spells."

Tsaroth sits down, and slips into trance.

The night passes uneventfully.

However, when you wake up in the morning, you fine that the vines under the cart have grown somewhat, in the twisting stalks you can barely make out elven charachters spells "You are not welcome here."

"This doesn't look like the perfect honeymoon spot," he mutters as he sees the spreded vines. "Someone sure doesn't like us..."

And yes, we might start using this to a certian extent.

Please move all other chat about OpenRPG to the OOC thread.

"I don't like being ordered around." mutters Grozny, still aching from the day before. "We've come this far, and I'm not stopping yet. I say we go onwards, show this druid how to treat travellers."

Whoever you are, we mean the forest no harm, and merely hunt the Kobalds who are the real danger. We wish to parlay with, and speak with you" in elven.

"Right, Now that it's morning we need to save the cart, I do not want to walk through here without some sort of protection. We should also get rid of the tiger corpse before it starts to smell."

I want to check the inside of the wagon to see if anything undesireable is inside.

The tiger corpse vanished during the night.

*rolls diplomacy check*

A hissing raspy voice seems to eminate from all directions. It echos.....
"Kobolds?"
Kobolds?...Kobolds?
"They are not your concern....."
Concern.....concern.....
"They serve us now......"
Now......now.....

"That must be some really mental druid, I tell you..."
Kennan looked at the forrest. "BEst to get rid of him. Who knows what evil things he has planned..."

"And who may I ask are you? And why are Kobalds in your employ? I am afraid that the raids these Kobalds commit are very much our concern"

"The humans on our border...."
border.......border...
"They come like all others, chopping hacking burning. Harming us...."
us.......us......
"The kobolds came, bearing the symbol of the fael, and offering to distroy those who would distory us.........."
us.....us.......

As an elf, I understand your plight. However, the humans lack the means to survive without using their environment. The humans in this area hae reached an agreement, that only allows them to take what they need and nothing more. The human villages are in natural clearings, and they only take what they need to live, and nothing more. Just like any other creature.

There is no reason to extend the cycle of pain by killing their children out of vengence. No, nature does not sek vengeance"

"If you continue like this, they will come for you, and kill you. Unless you stop the violence..."

"They take just what they need to live....."
live.........live......
"And their population grows, they take more......."
more.....more........
"Trees that took centuries to grow, distroyed in hours......"
hours........hours.....
"This forest gives to no creature......the kobods are the start. Soon the fael will send more, and the humans will flee....."
flee.........flee...
