The ring world does not have to magically vanish. As the fundamentalist fanatics of the covenant realize that they have lost, they decide that they do not wish it soiled by the hands of the unclean. They proceed to turn self defense weapons on the planet, razing it, destroying it, rendering it uninhabitable etc. *shrugs*

Problem solved. I reckon that as per the agreement made with the Krytos, the Ousters will demand that the Edean system be placed under their control. Since the ringworld is clearly an abomination, it's major centers of industry will be destroyed from orbit, it's shipyards and starships will be destroyed, and it will be let to it's natives. In a couple game-month's time, the system will be colonized by Ousters, and until then, a forwards military base will be built in the asteroid field.

I meant to say the Ousters will colonize the system- after demolishing it's industry, the Ringworld will be left alone.

Well once the compulsion wears off, they will still be amiable to us. It is only a suggestion spell, and they dont know why they didnt go terrorist.. but we treated them well.

Also, I shall be returning to the STGOD in about 1-1/2 weeks, or as soon as my workload trickles down. I'll probably start a new civ, or pick up on the remnants of the Covenant.

Kinda new to this site, who is the mod of this STGOD, is he/she online currently, and could i PM you to talk about jumping in (wanna run some ideas by you)
