Yes, but it wasn't your character who I was writting about, was it? It was Gix who's telepathic abilities can be described accurately as feeble. So when Varian and Talstrem jump into melee, Gix can't let fly with mental blasts and psychic fire would be a bad.

Ah. Right. Maybe he should join in, then? :P

I've still got cracked ribs from the last daemon prince and Gix is, by Inquisitor standards, a mediocre hand to hand combatent at best.

Varian is a hand to hand killing machine with handy biomancy powers like Hammerhand.

Talstrem is a badass with a Nemesis Force Sword who has beaten a Chaos Lord hand to hand.

Gix will remain in overwatch.

Hrm. It appears Pater's missed all the 'fun' while I've been away.

Right, that is, if you guys are eager to 'make an end' as it were, a fairly decent point for an ending. The alternative is of course, to race out of the now collapsing hive and to safety, and tie up loose ends.

In either case, I have some ideas for the sequel, which I'll pass on to whoever is the next GM, assuming you guys want someone else, perfectly explainable given my record. And whaddya know, Lena survived, I was planning on getting her killed too. :P

Now the immediate threat's over, why don't we pull a Bab 5 and cut to the Inquisitor's rec room or something? :P

by NecronLord
Well, that would be my idea for starting the sequel. First you get to relax in the rec room...

...then you get smacked with the horrible dire awful news.

So, it's not so much a sequel as part 2?

Petro's chomping at the bit to do part 2 at dark silver's site. He's even dropping a bug in frigid magi's ear. I think the way we have it with our beloved Necron giving us an overplot and me and Petro handling subplots and most of the detail work is great.

Hmm. I wasn't aware that Daemons had 'Borthplaces'. *Corrects typo*

What happened to Colonel-Commissar Grevious, anyway?

He's at librum waiting for us to start chapter 2.

The character, not Petro.

He got out with us.

by Pcm979
Ah. I was just wondering, because he also knows all about our "Archaeotech Is Your Friend!" scheme.

by Imperial Overlord
He also follows orders and doesn't come up with big schemes.

Which reminds me, we've had a lot of characters pop up and then fall by the wayside, to mix metaphors. At least 2 Inquisitors, and that Assasain dude to name a few. I presume they retroactively died horrible, gribbly deaths? :P

They are pretty much unaccounted for. They can live or die as the GM wills.

by NecronLord
They can be assumed MIA until/unless their players reappear.

It's the Necrons, right? No offense but I find the Necrons hidiously cliche'd and overpowered.

by NecronLord
No. No necrons.

EDIT: If they're involved in this conspiracy, it'd be through The Deceiver, who doesn't much care if your plan succeeds or fails. As long as you stay out on the rim.
