Besides, Lawrence Livermore only excels at certain areas, and not all. I'm thinking more akin to the University of Colorado/Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics (JILA) sort of pairing. JILA by the way is world famous for their work in Astrophysics, Atomic Molecular Optics, and Biophysics. Pretty high powered faculty with Nobel Prizes as well.

As for the Shadow Empire, the FUN can't put that much men on the ground. We don't have the transportation assets to move them quickly.

However, we do have massive air power assets. So if Shady's rebels can tag General Karic's forces, the SAF (and Langley's F-16s) will bag 'em.

PeZookia does have 200 GROM commandos. Elites who participated in the Astoria hostage-crisis and in Operation Vanaheim Hammertime in the Syndromian Strike. They're hardass.

Plus there are the submarines ready to deliver cruise missile strikes. It'll be like the first Shadow-Shroom War, death from above for General Karic's men. They'll probably be going "oh shit! not again!" when we drop the fucking hammer on them
