"SWEET MUlTIVERSE! Why the fuck do we always get into trouble like this? RObgea, that move of using a fireball spell was very stupid. It was high profile.... ANd I cant take innocent life...
I Fly to the mages on the shore, and tell them that this matter can be settled with a mage duel. Seeing as we dont want to be killed for his mistake, if they will get the shore guns to stop firing. Essentially, I challenge them to a duel, I will act as Robgea's proxy defender.
OOC: Why are there cannons?

OOC: because cannons and smokepowder have been invented. However, no one has come up with the idea of "flintlock" yet, so cannons are the ONLY smokepowder weapon you will see.

Right, I jump into the water, swim to shore.ON the way I cast Mage Armour apon myself. But after I get to shore I try to act in defense of Tasoth.
Except I have a counter spell preped.

Due to you inability to move, the first battlemage flies up towards you. He pulls a trunchton from his robes, and a swift crack on the back of the skull insures you'll be out for a bit longer then the spell.
The mage starts flying you back into town.

It expoldes, the mage is Severely Wounded.
The mage casts fireball at you, but the water lessens the effect a great deal. 10 poits of damage.

If he's on the ground, I get up place my hands in front of him and say.

If he's still standing I swim down deep in the water.

"Turn the fucking guns to shore cannons and blast them apart." Grozny shouts to the mercenary captain. Meanwhile, I find the nearest row boat and lower it down to the water, jump in and row to shore to pull Rpbgea and Tsaroth back to the ship.

Ok.......the mercs open fire. It's one ship, vs a battery desinged to defend a major port from attack.

I was trying to defend my innocent friend, and he attacked me first!
