Astinius hated the undead more than he disliked the living.

He walked with all haste to outside the near windowless Abbey(only windows would be arrow loops) and walked on to the front steps, then across the courtyard and took his place in guardtower. It gave him a sweeping view of the abby courtyard.

Malkamar stood in the Bell Tower, reading his arrows and drawing his magical bow. "Let this be some small recompense for the sins of my kindred, Lady Mystryl." He nocked his first two and prepared for the onslaught.

Astinius prepares his move equivalent actions for absorbing spellfire, unless I post otherwise

Also, casts protection from arrows when arrows are exchanged...

Gaheris deployed his troops around the wall. He set archers and melee fighters on the wall, and mainly melee fighters and apprentice clerics in squads around the courtyard. The paladins he placed in quick response teams and to guard the gate. There was a lancer team ready to charge down and trample anything that came through the gatehouse. Gaheris himself fetched Percival from the stables, but did not mount him. Instead, he would allow the griffon to attack on his own and follow him into the air via his winged boots. Force multiplication was good. He did a few blade exercises with his sword before putting it up. The calm before the storm was always worse than the storm itself, he thought...

Coaan glanced up at the sky and nodded, moving to the center of the courtyard to face the gates incase the enemy managed to break through. Carefully he reached behind him to pull free the short spear and buckler to bring into his hands. Within a moment he calmed himself and stood ready for the coming onslaught.

"Let them come...may they feel nature's wrath."

A faint sound of marching feet is the first indication of an attack, and within moments you all see a long procession of torchs winding through the city. The sound of marching feet grows louder, and the torches seem to multiply with every step the army takes. Within another few minutes, they arrive, slaves driven by whips and carrying crude spears, wizards hovering above, and a multitude of tightly formed hobgolins in full plate, chanting quietly as they move along. They spread out along the walls of the abbey, wheeling up small catapults. The hobgoblins drag forth several battering rams, and position themselves in front of the gate, about 300 yards away. Whips crack, and the slaves draw their bows back, ready to release. A single wizard floats slowly downward, hovering in front of the main gate. In a magically amplified voice, he speaks. "Surrender the vagabonds you are sheltering, and we will not crush your silly church. They are but a handful of people. Would you really risk losing a half a thousand lives for a mere handful, Lord Khazar?" With a flick of his wrist, he sends a fireball sceaming straight up, exploding only a few hundred feet above your heads.
(Ok, Initiative goes as follows
Nitram
Rogue 9 (just himself, not the abbey soldiers)
Alyrium
Keevan
Coaan
Abbey Soldiers
The Slavers)

Lazerus sees the brilliant explosion of a fireball over the city, showering the sky with embers. (Ok laz, now you can teleport there, if you wish.)

Torm was pacing in the courtyard, tail lashing. This was her first real fight. Those were real bad men. It was a little bit scary, but she was a dragon. She remembered what Papa and Mama and Pawpaw had taught her, and drew herself up, nearly inflating in an attempt to inspire confidence in herself and her newfound friends.

Malkamar took aim on the hovering mage. Idiot. He was standing on air, right in the path of his arrow. Focusing his mind to absorb any magics hurled in his direction in retaliation, he sighted along his bow and let fly with an arrow bearing an ancient enchantment.

(Firing with my +3 bow on the mage, move-action is to absorb magic nearby for when he tries to fire back).

Having been in the city and seen the area around the abby, i'm familiar enough with the area around it to use Teleport Without Error to full effect. I teleport to the top of a building near the abby, in OOC terms, i'm likely to get a good overview of the battle, and be inside or behind the vampires lines.

++At this point, of course, none of my buff spells are active++

You end up perched on a small belltower, about 100 feet away from the backside of the army.

Nitram: Your arrow flies straight and true, and slams into the mage's shoulder, and he screams in pain and floats down to the ground.

I activate a quickened haste.

For my first move action I chug-grab my one huge bottle of buff potions and chug it. (my stats are now as-per what I sent you).

For my standard/attack action I teleport to the base of the belltower behind hostile lines.

At this point, will all those buff spells spells active, my char is 30'ish feet tall, weights around a few tons, and being in half-breed for makes me look rather scary.

For my second move action, i'm going to charge into their lines and try to break them up. (intimidtate check)

Lazerus: The backside lines look to be composed of mainly slaves, held together by a small group of slave-drivers riding horses. They run in terror from you, scrambling over each other to get away, while the slave drivers are tossed from their mounts.

I cast quicked fireball into the hobgoblin lines.

The normall cast chain lightning into a random hostile formation.

Then look scary again.

Gaheris looked up to the walls. "FIRE AT WILL!" he called to the archers as he jumped onto Percival's back and took off. He wondered how this was going to come out as the wind from the griffon's wings swirled around him...

Astinius allows his mind to enter into the trance like state it always entered when casting a spell. His words opened the weave, and his hands shaped it into the desired effect. This time, and enchantment to protect him from the arrows that would surely be targeting him.

The archers notch, draw, and then release their arrows into the army, many shafts finding a slave's heart, but many more being deflected by a violent gust of wind from the east.

"May you all feel nature's fury!"

Coaan closed his eyes and began to chant in druidic, gliding his hands in the incantation's movements, drawing the raw power of the wind to lash out into the bulk of the army with. surrounded by nothing but open space, he concentrated.

Caoimhin drew his rapier and dagger and stalked between the groups of soldiers stationed around the courtyard. He chafed at having nothing to do in here while the army was outside.

The hobgolins march forward, an unstoppable wall of plate mail and halberds. From the center of their formation a battering ram emerges, which slams into the gate with a massive shake. The slave's release a literal storm of arrows, cutting down dozens of soldiers on the walls, while the catapults hurl stones over the walls, slamming into a group of clerics and laying them flat. Men scream in pain, and clerics cry out for Tyr as they try desperately to begin mending wounds.
