Given my destroyers have been far more spread out than this(And really wouldn't have dove into something as fucking obvious as crossing the T, but whatever), and spent something like two posts in transit since they were reduced to oversized missiles, I don't see a problem with them nailing the Warrior.

Well, really the problem is heading. They were moving directly towards the Gladius when they were smashed like soda cans, and I'm not sure I buy being able to make controlled maneuvers through venting atmosphere that's pouring out of large, irregularly shaped and randomly placed rents in the hulls of ships that didn't have atmosphere in the first place. Even assuming you did put an atmosphere on board even though you have no reason to, how in the hell are you controlling the direction of the air undergoing explosive decompression out of holes that have no control surfaces or directional control?
Also, if they were pursuing the Dauntless, their movement was restricted to one heading: That of the Dauntless. Gladius came by the Dauntless on a course that would take her past the pursuers in a raking maneuver, but went hard right as soon as she cleared the Dauntless's stern, taking her across the noses of the pursuit. This is the definition of crossing the T, though as I said in the post where I did this, your ships can correct that rather quickly through the joys of three-dimensional movement, unlike at sea. Its hardly crippling and it does make sense.

And by my count, the only one with three DN-equivs here is me. You have one fully operational DN, one uncompleted, unshielded, and only partially armed one, and one lighter battleship.
Your three DNs hardly constitute overwhelming force against that. You've got a reasonable advantage but you're going to take your lumps too.

I know. I didn't say that I just sweep the board with him, but I was wondering how he counted three supercapitals (by which I presume he means superdreadnoughts a la the
Aegis or the Jardanian's old flagship) on his side when in fact nobody's running super-DNs here that I'm aware of, and he doesn't even have three DNs.

I believe by super-capital ships he means larger than capital ships (battleships and battlecruisers). In which case you both have three, though his aren't fully operational.

Well, two supercapitals and one capital, then. Close enough, I suppose. *Makes a note to post the completion of those ships I ordered way back on page 30-something.*

Last I checked, the OU was gone. Oh, and I have a destroyer there.

Yes, the OU was one of the powers that fell apart at the end of the war. They're effectively gone. Interesting, huh?
And you never specified so I just called it something.

I counted my Battleships in my Supercapital count.

Oh, okay. That's cleared up then, though I do have three times as many cruisers, over twice as many escorts, and an empty set when I try to divide our carrier numbers.

She was finally finished. She activated her counter grav and main sublight engines. Slightly lifting herself from the construction slip, HIMS Ragnarok slowly crept out of the yard.
Next to her, one could spot the beginnings of her sister ship, the Götterdämmerung, which has just started its construction.
When she was cleared off the yard, she turned skywards and made the long ascent to open space, more gracefully than one would suspect a ship more than 5 kilometers in length, and massing slightly more than 30 million tons.
Minutes later, she cleared the last wisps of Gladsheim Prime's atmosphere and reached open space.
Dominating the ships awaiting her, she and her escort began the shakedown cruise and initial military maneuvres.
What an unbelievable coincidence! *chuckle*

I know. That's why I want only one of your supercapitals to die; you outnumber me nastily, but I'm not defenseless.

Frigid, It's all well and good, but I'll point out that:
1: These aren't military-grade Kincaid drives. Since your empire seems to have no real base in grid/hyperspace interaction tech, replicating a missile with fine enough kinetic plume control to be useful will be hard. Hard and time-and-resource consuming.
2: Kincaid drives are hardly the only small FTL systems; you could accomplish the same effect for a tiny fraction of the cost using commerically available shuttle-scale warp drives.

Alyrium, I can't wait until one of my vessels opens up on a rock-covered spaceship with gridfire. It won't be pretty, all that nice crystal shattering....

Nah, I just didn't know if you still considered me a mod or not. On that note:
LET THE OPPRESSION BEGIN!

Yes. And you know what other word describes diamond? Brittle!

It's hard yes, but very easily shattered.

They arent Diamonds, but the hulls themselves are weaker against kinetics.
But then again, that is what shields are for.

I am sorry Rogue 9 but I have to say that that is pure nonsense. I dealt with every post that got to me when I was in control of the Krynor. If memory serves, I dealt with frigidmagi's post in detail, and
nineteen already wounded motherships fell to his missile salvo. I am sorry if I did not take the time to respond to your missile launching posts, but the fact remains that they had their effect. The Krynnori fleet was raped in that engagement, and since my primary concern was to focus ALL my fire on the arcane forces, it is not surprising to discover that such an endavour took most of my attention.
I am sorry, but the entire last stand of the krynnor was pretty much the Goa`uld versus the Arcanists, while everyone else in the alliance took a backseat to that. *shrugs* I feel pretty confident that I did a solid job with that whole mess. I have no regrets.

Don't apologize. Rogue 9 had a SINGLE missile cruiser present, and a small fleet. It's additional firepower was spit into the ocean that was the Alliance firepower.

Right. You have a choice of two targets: One, a heavily damaged battleship with a hole rammed into its side that's doing its damnedest to get away from you, but is still pretty close. Two, a supercarrier that hasn't been significantly hit at all and is way the hell away from you. You'll be destroyed within minutes. Which one do you go for if you want to kill one before you die? I didn't think that was all that hard...

Hey, Thirdfain, got a couple problems with your post, mostly with how I was going to respond. I'll deal with it tommorow (I got to get some sleep,) but I just wanted to let you know now.

Bugsby, Fletchers are common weapons in Known Space, with dozens of makes and models being produced by a number of Floater cluster. It's usage is FAR from a smoking gun, and certainly isn't admissable evidence for Ouster collusion.
