"So the little one awakes at last." Dropping the sack behind him, Grozny places his boot randomly on a lumb in the middle of the sack, and unties the closing of the bag. "Now little one, we shall talk. This letter," letter waving in the air, "What does it say. Answer me quickly or I shall soon be eating greenskin."

Its all clear. No sign of any of the soldiers or thugs or even the mysterious "wizards" the dwarf referred to.
I tell the dwarf, "Step where I step," and proceed to step across on the untrapped squares.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! No kill! No kill! Me read!"
The goblin takes a look at the note and begins reading as best he can. "Kill... prof... prof... warriors... meet at new goblin base... south... map in rock... under... tree... circle..."

He follows you, somewhat clumsily but picks his way among the tiles.

JN, I'm ready to continue toward the next town, and hopefully the group again, whenever you think I've recovered my HPs.

As you are moving you believe you can see far-off firelight. Though you can't be certain, it seems to be a good distance away still, and you are unlikely to reach it tonight.

"Fine little one, you have done well. But I still have need for you." mumbles Grozny, promptly kicking the goblin in the temple, knocking him out again, and begins following the horse tracks again, goblin in tow.

I make note of the location of the fire and push the horse onwards at a steady trot.

You wander on for some time and realize that these tracks could potentially be going on for quite a ways, with no obvious end in sight. They may not even be related to the goblin threat.

Grozny, in a bit of a mood from having walked so far without any results, decides he will continue to follow the path for another 20 minutes, after which, if nothing is found, the goblin needs to be interrogated again, and to find out where he came from.

Do you think there's something in the complex back there that might help him?
