I'd say that's a definite yes. For years, Justin's battle descriptions have always been extremely vivid and violent, but now that he's got a system that lends itself to sheer brutality such as what's been going on as of late, he can really sink his teeth into the blood and guts and gore. I love it.

Oh btw, for everyone's information, Action Points don't apply during PvP. So in case anyone's thinking of betraying each other, you won't have to worry about that surprise back of the head shot automatically missing.
EDIT: Not that I'm encouraging betraying and murdering each other, but it's not really DIScouraged either...

RAILROAD! RAILDROAD!
edited to ask:
Oh, as of now we've made it to
Turn 13. That's 13 since the new scheme started, right? I was going to update my sheet to reflect the used Action Point, but I'm having trouble counting actual turns from when the new scheme started.

Right the turn is 13 since we started. By the way, those action points reset after every battle. So it's not permanently gone or anything.

Can I join? And if so, can someone sum up what has happened so far?

Sure, you can join. Someone else can probably give a much better summary than I can, but here's the short version: Lots of people died from automatic fire by weapons of unnecessarily large caliber
We're still in the early stages of the campaign, so it's a bloodbath right now. It will become less violent and more roleplay focused soon (although I must say the roleplaying has been excellent).
Here is the url for the main campaign thread, if you haven't seen it already.

Oh. I see. I misread the rules, then. I've got enough already to bring a couple of things up anyway. GP'll be getting another update from me by week's end.
The story so far: Microsoft is bad. Some revolutionaries are hiring mercenaries for protection so they can bring Microsoft down.

CorSec's summary is pretty inclusive, I'd say. You might want to check out
this page. There's not a lot of information, but you can check out the other players character sheets. Also, check the
source book here and the additional
Cyberpunk rules and character sheet template here. The cyberpunk rules include a history of what's happened from the current present to the present in which the game takes place.

Sounds good. I hadn't realized there had been 13 turns already. I'm not sure if that's enough XP for Dirk to increase anything or not (since he's such a badass already

).

Those skills don't work on other PCs. Free will and all
Psychic powers would work though.

Hey woah it wasn't a suggestion! I was just informing you, so don't say "I suppose I could" like I said you should.

Um. Quick question, I just read over the B&B rules, and I was looking at the cyber-B&B rules.......
Where are the rules for recoil? I don't see them......

Also, while the G&G weapons list is quite extensive, there is one weapon missing. The EMP cannon.
It does not damage, simply disables any cybernetics or electronic equipment the person is carring. Can I "import" it?

Cyberpunk rules wrote:Recoil: Recoil is the strength with which a weapon kicks when fired. It affects the accuracy of subsequent shots according to the strength of the user. A shooter can deal with an amount of Recoil equal to his Damage score (in other words, 1/2 of his Body Stat) with no penalties. For every point of Recoil the gun possesses beyond that, subsequent shots taken during the round will suffer -1 to AT. In other words, a penalty to AT equal to Recoil – Damage is taken for fully auto fire and shots made after the first on other modes of fire.
This is from the bottom of page 7.

Someone more knowledgeable about such things will correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my impression that it's not at all certain that it's possible or feasible to produce a significant EMP effect without the large explosion to go along with it.

Dirk wrote:"Whoa, hold on there, cowboy. I wouldn't trust my mother alone with that van, so I sure as hell ain't letting your russkie buddy drive it off. Tell you what. I'll drive that van," he points to the van previously owned by the goons, "and everyone here can ride along with me. You," he moves his finger to point at Ernesto, "can drive your van and follow the rest of us to the compound. That way, everyone gets to the compound, and no one takes off with the van, never to be seen again. Ok?"
"Awwww, how cute. Here, would it help if I called you an American Pig-Dog, for old time's sake?"
Methinks someone's wanting diiiiiibs.
