The spell, no.

It was created by druidic magic.

"So? Suppose the Druid is upset, and wants to defend her forest, I wouldn't put it past a druid to do that. Now what upsets me is the 'Fael' and how they just happened to show up now, and that dead, bloated Kobold, because if they were allies you wouldn't think the forest would kill a Kobold..."

"which is exactly why I think there is something much more dangerus afoot. An upset duid is one thing, but they generally dont hire mercenary Kobalds... It isnt the forest attacking people, it is the Kobalds."

As the cart moves along, and tiger streaks out from the bushes and leaps up onto the back to the cart. Before you can draw your weapons, or otherwise react, it's outline seems to blur and warp. It quickly changes and then solidifies into a male wood elf, wearing the same type of clothing as the elf you saw before.

"A am Illdimar, we have decided that I should accompany you to the humans, as the eyes and ears of the forest."
He notices that your converstaion suddenly stopped.
"Are we interrupting something?"

"Well we just were not expecting a tiger to jump into the back of our cart... shapeshifting druid or otherwise"

(elven) "We were merely discussing politics. We are weary to take you, but if you can fit you can hop into the cart and ride. Might I just ask you one thing though?"

"There are certian spells that can shape living wood as desired, without harming the tree in any way. We simply shaped a branch into the required shape."

After a while longer, the druid points foreward.
"And the town is just up ahed, take a good look......."
Just down the path, the forest abruptly ends. The stumps of treeing and wood shavings litter the area. The word "Clear cut" comes to mind.

The druid speaks: "Normally we would deal with this threat as we always have, driving off those who enter the forest. But these humans are persistant, and we have been forced to take other measures."

Looked down at the human settlement, you see a community with a wall made of logs. Smoke rises from severel buildings (blacksmiths and such), and you see a building that you think might be a timber mill.

This town appears to have been built around the idea that the forest is a unlimited sourse of wood.

The druid looks visibly saddened.
"Very well then. You have 72 hours to stop this desicration, or we will......what is the phrase the kobold used....."terminate with extreme prejiduce"?"

Tsaroth looks at the destruction and shivers noticably

"Thank you my friend... let us hope it does not come to that"

"Well, lets get going... These negotiations will not be easy... and it seems as if I am the only trained diplomat in the lot of you... So let me do the talking... Lets try not to scare people"

Tsaroth quickly changes from the purple and blue robes, into a set of black and white robes, traditional color of diplomats.

Malakar walks up to the druid and begins speaking in druidic. "I promise you that I will do everything in my power to stop these humans from desecrating this forest. And if I fail..then you must do what you must."

*OOC* Rangers are usually very close to nature, and Malakar learned druidic from one of his relatives, who was a druid.*

(OOC: Can't do that, if a druid teaches Druidic to a non-druid he gets kicked out of the Druidic Order. Check Here)

OOC: Yes, I know druids will get kicked out of their order if they teach druidic to a non-druid. Malakar's relative WAS kicked out of his order, but not for teaching druidic to Malakar. Rather, he was kicked out before that incident even happened.

"Black and white is evn more your color," Keenan observed with a chuckle.
"I'll accompany you. I can be quite...diplomatic, too. At least when it comes down to unconditional surrenders..." His glance took a darker tint, looking at the town. "We should find the mayor, or an equivalent first. But from the looks of this town, I doubt they will listen as desired."

Are there any Libraries/Bookstores in Town?
You would have to enter the town and search for that, and it might take awhile. Normally that wouldn't matter, but you are on a time limit........
And are there any skilled blacksmiths or Carpenters?
Yes. You can tell that just by looking.
*OOC* Rangers are usually very close to nature, and Malakar learned druidic from one of his relatives, who was a druid.*
No. Unaccecptble. Druidic is a RESTRICTED LANGUAGE, meaning you cannot have it unless you are a druid. No getting around that rule by haveing an interesting background story.

You enter the town. The main street is bustleing, and while you attract a certian degree of attnetion simiply because of your appearnce and method of entry, people don't really pay attention to you for the most part.
