"Would" and "Should" when it comes to victory margins are pretty meaningless concepts unless you're more interested in the point spread than the outcome itself.

Good teams win and win often, This year the Titans have won 4 (Chicago, Green Bay in OT, Baltimore, Jacksonville) games by 7 points or less, and another 2 games by just 10 points (Jacksonville, Indy). All of those teams they have played close games with haven't played even close to the Titans' level of play this year (Baltimore and Indy @ 6-4 are the best of that bunch). Victory margin is just padding on the cake.

The 49ers are a team on the way up, the Cowboys are on the way down. Plus I don't want to see Dallas in the playoffs so I'm hoping this will happen.

As much as I loved seeing the 9ers kick the ever-loving shit out of the Rams, that was the Rams. The Cowboys are still the better team. Did you see how St. Louis got a bunch of big gains in the beginning before SF adjusted? Dallas, even if they're on the way down, is most likely going to pick us apart.

Have you been asleep for four weeks? Dallas is a hopeless trainwreck. San Fran has a real chance of ACCIDENTALLY winning in dallas. On a touchdown that Dallas scores....for the 49ers.

Tied 7-7, but the Steelers are in the red zone at the 2 minute warning in the 2nd quarter.

And the Bungles lose. No big surprise, I guess.

It was almost entirely worth it just to see Holmes get destroyed by Chris Crocker. That hit was amazing!

After 2 interceptions, McNabb was pulled from the Eagles/Ravens game in the 3rd quarter and Kolb is in there now. And he threw an interception of own a few minutes ago.

15-7 Ravens as the 4th quarter begins.

Since it seems unlikely McNabb will be put back in the game, the best thing you can say for him is that he won't get to tie his 3 interceptions of last week.

Update:

HA! Someone on the Eagles' bench just drew an Unsportsmanlike Conduct. It would be funny if it wasn't such a bad game.

Update:

Ravens score on a 53 yard touchdown. Clayton ran in with impunity.

22-7 Ravens with the kick. 11:30 remaining in the 4th.

The Eagles were inches, inches, barely a football's length from the goal to get back in the game and inconceivably Kolb throws it into the end zone instead of sneaking it in, resulting in a neat interception. Reed runs the length of the field for a touchdown.

29-7 Ravens with just over 7 minutes to go.

I knew the Eagles season was done after tying the Bengals, but this is just embarrassing. Fire Andy Reid, I've had enough of his insanely bad play calling.

If you can't beat the Bengals, who can you beat? Why in the hell did they throw the ball back there, 2 scores ago? Madness.

Update:

35-7 as the Ravens score again. At 3:10 remaining, the game is stopped for an injury.

Update:

With the FG, 36-7 Ravens after a short injury timeout.

With just over 1 minute remaining, Baltimore takes a knee and the game will end.

36-7 Ravens over the Eagles.

Buffalo clears out KC and Houston does indeed top the Browns. Jets smack down the Titans HARD and New England pushes it right to the end with Miami.

Quite a week.

It's not very often that the Bills send the home fans packing half way through the third quarter. Today really appealed to the Bill Belechick in me, I was hoping we'd put up 60. Trent Edwards supplied 4 Touchdowns, playing like a man who knew he had to earn back some respect. Runningback by committee produced 140 yards rushing and another fifty recieving. Lee Evans had a 100+ yard day at about 20 YPC.

Hopefully kicking the snot out of a bad team will get us out of this funk.

Also, Leodis McKelvin, welcome to the NFL!

Fuck. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Sorry, Spartan, but it's a credit to how shitty the Texans are that they only won by 10. If we had played a halfway competent team, it could easily have been 40+ to nothing.

What's the trend this week with benching QB's to make a spark? Has that ever worked? The Browns are getting worse as the season goes on, so they decide to go backwards another step and put DA in. Fantastic. I realize Brady played badly, but he's practically a rookie! If they're looking to bench somebody, it needs to be Braylon.
