That'd be one heck of a warhead to survive the matter->energy conversion of the ERA chunk.

Look. A lot of people from the Star Kingdom are of Japanese descent. And while it's been something like 4500 years since the Diaspora officially began, there's some chunks of culture that has remained intact.

Bah. Wait till I get my Trapdoor online. Your multi-stage warheads will look very nice once translated back onto your bridge!

Yup, and its kind of R&D and procurement is when having a defence budget identical to your GDP comes in handy. Though using a nice shaped charge to defeat the ERA and then setting off the total conversion bomb would also work at reduced cost.

Bah. I'll just re-invent foldshields. Yeah, that's right. So that warhead will get bounced right back at you, and I'll be sure to include glue so that it "sticks to you."

My ERA actually has active sensors and a bunch of other fun things that allows it to defend against Little Doctor attacks and such. Thus, your primary shaped charge is thus less than useful. Plus, I have void spaces too.

If the panel is physically shattered or vaproized I doubt it will do you much good.

Even cooking really requires a sustained orbital bombardment

But fried fish isn't complete until you've thrown in some Alliance-style beaver rump.

Hey, Stormbringer, I am going to try to put an expatriate Azegart shipping corp owner, who is a practicing moslem, in charge of the remains of the Azegart Empire.

Want to be the corrupting former inquisitioner who manipulates him from behind the throne? (I see visions of Red Alert 2...)

*Trapdoor systems handily shunt the energy into hyperspace and into the HAB homeworld. When Great Leader is hit by a stray particle of anti-logic that got caught up in the explosion.. Nothing happens at all*

There seems to be a major hard-on in this STGOD for covert moves in preference of main force. This isn't the way it's supposed to run, people; if you want to destroy a planet you do it by main force. If you're so afraid of retribution that you have to conjure up a way to strike at your enemies without coming under any possible counter-attack, then don't fucking attack in the first place.

This whole "I destroy your primary world and you can't do anything about it nyah nyah nyah!" thing would kill the STGOD if it was allowed, and I fully agree with Nitram's decision to smash it down (for the second time).
