That'd be one heck of a warhead to survive the matter->energy conversion of the ERA chunk.Sea Skimmer wrote:And thus the dual warhead was inventedphongn wrote: Oops, you just took a bite out of extremely worthless explosive-reactive armor.
Look. A lot of people from the Star Kingdom are of Japanese descent. And while it's been something like 4500 years since the Diaspora officially began, there's some chunks of culture that has remained intact.Alyrium Denryle wrote:What do all you people have against fish people?![]()
Yup, and its kind of R&D and procurement is when having a defence budget identical to your GDP comes in handy. Though using a nice shaped charge to defeat the ERA and then setting off the total conversion bomb would also work at reduced cost.phongn wrote: That'd be one heck of a warhead to survive the matter->energy conversion of the ERA chunk.

Bah. I'll just re-invent foldshields. Yeah, that's right. So that warhead will get bounced right back at you, and I'll be sure to include glue so that it "sticks to you."SirNitram wrote:Bah. Wait till I get my Trapdoor online. Your multi-stage warheads will look very nice once translated back onto your bridge!
My ERA actually has active sensors and a bunch of other fun things that allows it to defend against Little Doctor attacks and such. Thus, your primary shaped charge is thus less than useful. Plus, I have void spaces too.Sea Skimmer wrote:Yup, and its kind of R&D and procurement is when having a defence budget identical to your GDP comes in handy. If the panel is physically shattered or vaproized I doubt it will do you much good.phongn wrote: My ERA actually has active sensors and a bunch of other fun things that allows it to defend against Little Doctor attacks and such. Bah. I'll displace them into the nearest Aquarian ocean. Fried fish for EVERYONE!phongn wrote:Bah. I'll just re-invent foldshields. Yeah, that's right. But fried fish isn't complete until you've thrown in some Alliance-style beaver rump.Sea Skimmer wrote:Even cooking really requires a sustained orbital bombardmentSirNitram wrote:

So, no to the OA? And me?3rd Impact wrote:Is there any chance of me coming into the STGOD late? I'd be bringing a much-battered version of the Outworlds Alliance along, or a different civ if the old one would cause problems.
