Um, Soren's "little mountain hideaway" was only left intact in the timeline where the star was destroyed. When Picard and Kirk came back from the Nexus (the "real" timeline), the missile blew up before launching: destroying the platform. There was nothing left that would be worth recovering.

It's not like a rocket launch platform is a technological breakthru anyway, were it intact or even if the broken pieces could be analysed.

Oh, that. Didn't understand your post. Anyway, it's not like that computer has instructions on how to build a stable trilitium warhead. All he's doing is computing trajectories, the path of the ribbon, effects of gravity, shit like that. The actual plans to the thing are in his head, the blown-up station, and the blown-up klingon BoP.
