Other than that, it depends much on your taste. For example, I know a girl who avoids sci-fi like the plague no matter how good it is. (She prefers historical movies)

NEVER see Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. It had lame action, bad acting, worse directing, and a shitty ending. It's perhaps the worst movie I've seen in 5 years.

I concur. Normally when I get a bad movie, I stick it out and give it a chance. Well about 1/2 way through, my wife and I looked at each other and asked "why are we still watching this shit."

I really didn't like Moulin Rouge either. It made no sense, especially with all the 60's music in the 1900 setting. From the beginning, I dodn't know what was happening, and really didn't give a damn either.

Most of these movies are nothing, I've seen tripe that'll make crap look good. Mortal Kombat Annilation, Ravenous, now these are bad. But even them are nothing compared to the horror that is Troll 2 and Jack Frost (the killer snowman movie not the keaton kids movie which was bad but not killer snowman bad.)
