Well that doesn't count, since the concept had already been retconned and incorporated into overall franchise continuity.

I mean anything exclusively from Beast Wars and those other series that I mentioned, like shoving Black Arachnia or Sky-Byte or Tidal Wave in just for the sake of it.

How about having a large transformer gestalt also having an alt-mode? In the movie universe that would be fairly easy to imagine (transformers very eaisly reconfigure their bodies for transformation into any desired shape).
