Is it bad that I only recognized like 8 of those movies?

Octavius will be. . . Well probably not avenged. Even I didn't like him much. Maybe we can get back into the guard base if we tell them we took him into the underhive and fed him to monsters.

I like how you think good sir.
"Yeah, you know that guy who really pissed you off? He's dead. Killed in the service of the Emperor, blessed be His name. Can we come back now?"
Although the fact that we're probably wanted for desertion at this point probably puts a crimp on that.

Apologies for this being late, but my schedule has been rather hectic lately. Can I double check the miner's sense of direction in these hive tunnels? Just to be sure.

Hopefully by the time we go back to the Guard base and are accused of desertion we can just say:
"Nope. we were just witch hunting. Here are a few witch carcasses and evidence for ya."
More seriously we'll probably just have to live off of enemy supplies for awhile. Also a bad thing about losing our extremely orthodox arbite is the local arbites liked him for some reason and he was able to work out possible backup arrangements with them if we ever found something really nasty to hit.

You think he's going the right way, but it's hard for you to tell.

Okay, it's clear there's some confusion here, so I will be abundantly clear here:
Serghar met up with Lazarus and Varnius outside of the Balimek Base. Rather than risk going through the creatures in the base, Varnius led the group back to the area above where he killed the oddly dressed man, where there was an obvious entrance back into the tunnels Lazarus had been following him in, which were connected to the tunnels that you used to go from the Grimloch base to the Balimek base. The trip BACK to Grimloch territory takes roughly two hours, if you know where you're going. Varnius got lost, wasted an hour, and came out to a point the group had been to many hours earlier, well before anyone in the group even SAW a Grimloch. It takes longer for you to come back, and you won't be coming in through the tunnels if you choose to walk back this way, but you know the way. The other option is to go back into the tunnels and give it another go.
There. Any questions?

And yes, sleep would be a good idea for those that were in the Balimek base pulling an all-nighter. Just saying.

I figured before I made a stupid in game post that I should check as to whether Nixios has had a sufficient amount of sleep. It's a bit confusing as to just how long it's been since he finished, since we did have a lot of posts out of sequential order.

You've had a few hours of sleep, so you're technically okay to wake up now. It's not a great night's sleep, but you'll be fine, mechanically.

Block / Verum
Extended Care doubles natural wound regeneration (and, presumably, prevents infection and deteriorating condition). As is fairly sensible (if possibly imbalanced) without advanced supplies, a psyker can heal far, far faster than a medic.
I can't do anything more for your hitpoints unless you either get shot again or we wait a week (because you're Heavily Wounded [more than 2x toughness bonus in damage]); Given that we've been playing for months now and only passed a little over a day, the latter seems pretty likely never to occur.
I'll do all the right things in character, but stats-wise, there's nothing I can do.

Of course, medics don't have a one in ten chance of calling down the horrors of the warp on you.
Just saying.

Exactly. Psychic healing for field use only. If wonderfully, fluffy, lily white down time with a cozy comforter and a mug of hot apple cider is available, go with the medic.

Nonsense! Odds are you'll be dead long before then.

Our characters will die within the next in-game day? What a shocking revelation!

The party, or rather what is left, is back together. I'd suggest that anyone interested in continuing the game post something, or I might get the wrong idea.

An all nighter on top of non stop marching and fighting. So yeah, we're damn tired.
My danger sense is also telling me the gangers we are shacked up with are too good to be true. The last DM I had would have made their leader the big Villian who of course screws us at the worst time. Hopefully Hotfoot will only have him screw us at a good time

I actually have experience screwing people over at the worst times. Safe to say, this is not the worst time. Not by a long shot.
And yes, I would encourage the rest of our party to post already!

Hotfoot: I'm going through the motions like I would on a tabletop, here, but what I'm doing is pretty mechanical: get boiling water and/or fresh bandages so that Cyrine can do the appropriate background things to keep everyone from dying of gangrenous wounds or what have you; I'd be just as happy fast-forwarding through it unless there's something worth seeing along the way.

That's fine, I'm not going to demand that you go into massive detail on extended care. The doc has the basic equipment, sorry for not commenting on that earlier.

I know there was a delay while we were waiting for Sylas to decided if he wanted to keep playing, but now that he's here, maybe there should be some posting?

Wasn't so much a decision as things started moving when my monitor decided to fail on me.
