The only fly in that ointment was the revelation that Maedhv created the Wraith as a weapon against the Ancients. Then again, we don't know at what point in her life she did that.

However, that does lead me to wonder... can the Wraith be "fixed" so they don't need to feed off humans anymore?

Second, when compared to the other Sarasavsati and proto-Ancients still floating around, Maedhv is by far the most "human" and reasonable of them. I'd much rather have to deal with her, arrogant as she may be, than the one in "Sole Survivor"; at least Maedhv has a concept of sentient rights.

Third, SG1 Earth's governments need to get kicked in the nuts and told to grow up and join the rest of the multiverse. Someone's got to do it, since they're not about to do it themselves; does that make Maedhv a bad person?

Oh, Maedhv is a fucking monster, let's not pretend otherwise.

Incidentally for those curious starting tomorrow we're going to be posting a special edition of Last Woman Standing which has been heavily edited because this one never satisfied us, nor a lot of the audience. The conclusion of the story will only be available in the new thread created for the special edition. Consider it an advanced warning.

Yeah. That little part about the wraith, and then planning on bringing them to the MW, with little to no thought of curbing them, and so little control? Yeah, like that would ever work out.

And yes, while Earth's goverments do need some kicks, it's not entirely their fault, and Maedhv's intentions, no matter what they plan on doing (For all I see, she's going to take over even if the US lets her bomb the trust to hell), have completely and totally PISSED ME THE **** off. If she gets borg munched, or wraith-snacked, or replicated, I'd cheer for days, until I realized that they now had their hands on super-advanced tech.

Honestly, now that I think of it, I'd rather have chaos or the dark eldar get ahold of her, but that's not gonna happen.

I'm not. I think Daniel's right: from what I've seen of her she doesn't have the personality type to be a good ruler. She's far too arrogant.

Really, I think the fact that she seriously contemplates declaring herself a god says it all. Telepath or no it makes me wonder how well she really understands modern humans, because bullshit like that will earn a ruler the resentment, disgust, and contempt of most modern people, not their reverence. Seriously, how much of the modern world would a stunt like that not horribly backfire in? It will make most secular people hate her for the astounding arrogance of it, conservative Christians and Muslims hate her for the blasphemy and expectation of having to worship a false god ... either she has a very poor understanding of how the modern world works or she knows but does not care. Neither possibility speaks well for her likely performance as a ruler.
