For me, hair is hair is hair, as long as she's got some and it's well-styled I'm happy.

Besides which, when I was still dating I always took a quick glance at the rack first, then the length of the legs. If those checked out, I'm on to the face.

Short. Preferably black and curly.

When the hell did attractive women have beards?

length is irrelevant as long as it´s straight hair. curly hair sucks.

I never got dates because I keep my hair short. When it gets too long, it curls up the wrong way and I can do nothing with it. Short hair is easier to maintain. So, when I actually found a guy interested in me, even with short hair, I snatched him up immediately.

It IS a stereotype for guys to like long hair. Sorry, just pointing out a fact.

Short hair just doesn't do it for me. Just a turn-off. In the same way, women not liking guys with mullets is also a stereotype :)

curls up in the wrong way? well there are ways to make hair staraight.
a friends girlfriend does that all the time. she´s black and has the typical curled hair black people have. and she manages to get them straight.

Doesn't work on my hair. Plus, my hair is so thick, it's really heavy when it's long. Takes 2hrs to dry with a hairdryer.

My preference is a woman with shoulder length hair. Nothing is better than that!
I like my woman in long hair (shoulder-lenth or slightly longer is fine).

I would love to have long hair.
But whenever I let my hair grow too much, it starts to look like a poodle exploded on my head.
It gets so much volume, it's like a living thing :)

What sort of person rejects a potential love interest because of something as trivial as hair length?? It doesn't matter that much in my mind. Then again, I went to school at a grade where all the boys have longer hair than the girls.....

Well if you want a screwed up parody....I never got any because of long hair....

At a school with almost 2000 students I was the only guy with long hair....

Long. Approximately half way down the back, give or take six inches. I'll volunteer that I also prefer brunettes.

Short hair can be good too, it just depends on the woman. Personally, I have a ponytail fetish, so I enjoy long hair on a woman, but I'm certainly not going to turn someone down because they have short hair. :)

Defiant wrote:Yes, yes, I've heard the argument from women before: "If you men had to spend an hour on your hair like we do, you wouldn't want it long either."

Its true. But dammit, I likes what I likes!
My hair is down to the middle of my back, and it doesn't take me 30 years to get it ready. Washing it takes a while, but that's about it. The reason it takes an hour for so many women is because of all that shit they put in their hair. And don't even get me started on artificial coloring. Nothing makes hair unhealthy faster.

Some of us don't have hair. Some of us consequently look like characters from a Steve Odekirk short (bonus cookies for people who can name a Steve Odekirk short).

mmmPoooonytail. [eyes roll back]

My wife had long hair for quite a while but wanted a change. She cut about thirteen inches off and is donating it to be made into wigs for cancer patients. It's about shoulder length now and still looks great. She says it's a hell of a lot lighter and she doesn't wrench her neck anymore when she's leaning against it.

I prefer hair around shoulder length, perhaps a bit lower. If a woman has less hair on their head than I do, then I consider it a turn off, as I do when it goes down to the waist.

I personally find smooth, flowing hair more attractive trhan a ponytail, as well.
