TPM vs. TWoK

This one is tough to me. I was very disappointed in TPM the first time I saw it. But with the expectations, any movie would have been unable to please me.

But the more I watch TPM, the more I like it. On my 57" widescreen and powerful JBL surround sound, it really rocks hard! When it is fun, it is a lot of fun, but it also has the cringe factor at times.

TWOK doesn't have the cringe factor, the acting is good, and it is a lot of fun. But it isn't fast action - it doesn't rock hard.

I have to go for TPM in a close race.

phantom menace, when standing alone, is a pretty lousy movie. it's boring. I dont care for any of the characters. it seems a stack of cliches.

but, if watched immediatly before rotj, it does it's job quite well. anakin's evolution can be traced almost perfectly, and you almost pity the child, encased in the hatred of sith.

The two downsides to TPM completely destroy the movie, though....Jake Lloyd and Jar Jar Binks. ANY director who unleashes these two hideous beasts upon his script deserves to be recognized as a shitty director. I haven't seen Wrath of Khan in years, and I vote for it just to spite TPM, I hate TPM so much. What a piece of garbage.

Jar Jar binks was no more annoying than the droids or the ewoks.

I'm about an equal fan of ST and SWl.....but the rest of the trek movies not listed up there just SUCK (especially TMP and TFF........UGH!)
