What Anakin's fighter?vakundok wrote:So, the guns of the Slave1 can be set to a lower power settings. The guns of Anakin's fighter also did not produced large explosions. So I higly doubt that this feature was left out from the guns of the X-wings. (Besides, if those guns are so powerfull, why the AT-ATs do not carry them? It would be far more effective than shooting the troopers one by one.)
EDIT:
However a possible answer:
-The weapons of an X-wing are too powerfull and canot be switched to lower power settings.
Icing can be a problem for a speeder that uses aerodynamic control surfaces, not for a starfighter without those.
I think he means the Naboo N-1 he assclowned around in TPM.Illuminatus Primus wrote:

Gee...another person who has their head stuck their ass so all they did is think they saw the movie.Galaxy wrote:Yeah i'm sure they would send worthless parade fighters to attack a huge battleship bulging with droid fighters.
Y'know they describe the trade federation as battle-hardened.
Do you think they had anything better? Naboo is a peaceful planet and the fighters aren't used for heavy use in a war.Galaxy wrote:Yeah i'm sure they would send worthless parade fighters to attack a huge battleship bulging with droid fighters.

Yes they were true fighters, they still were pretty crappy.Galaxy wrote:No i don't think they had anything better, which is why i think they were true fighters.
Yes I ment the N-1. Side note: I do not think they were so crappy since ten years later they escorted Amidala when se was really in danger. Besides they were quite effective against the droid fighters and I do not think the Trade Federation would buy scrappy fighters. Side question: How did those (NABOOIAN) fighters get to Coruscant?Vympel wrote:I think he means the Naboo N-1 he assclowned around in TPM.Illuminatus Primus wrote:

The new Queen's yacht, the one that blew up, included four recharge sockets in the leading edges of its wings. The tail booms of the fighters fit into those ports, allowing the fighters to recharge their power systems off those of the yacht. That way, the yacht could make the hyperspace jump to Coruscant while carrying a flight of four fighters. Without such support, the fighters would have been limited to jumps of no more than 1,000 light years and would have had to travel in steps accompanied by a tanker. However the real question is whether the guns of the X-wings really canot be switched to lower power setting.
Thanks.Patrick Ogaard wrote:The new Queen's yacht, the one that blew up, included four recharge sockets in the leading edges of its wings. You are a complete imbecile if you think the Naboo air-show ships are reliable representations of what SW fighters are capable of.Galaxy wrote:No i don't think they had anything better, which is why i think they were true fighters.
