I'd like to sign up with the reserves, too. Matt Bardrick. My inability to see in 3d and need for coke-bottle-bottom glasses ought to serve me wonderfully as a gunner of some type or another (since those would have the highest attrition rate, I'm guessing).

I'd prefer top gunner, if possible. Then I can complain sufficiently about the 'sun in my eyes, I can't bloody see!' if we're flying day, or 'I can't see bugger all, there's just lots of stars!' at night.

If you can't guess, I'd like to still be Australian somehow, even though we're in an American plane. You can make up whatever you like about why I'm not with the Australian forces/home for washing out/riding a desk somewhere.

I get bored easily, am a big reader, and get very into my books, so I might have to be "encouraged" to notice that we're being shot at and do something about it. Also, I make lots of bad jokes (with an especial love of puns), and am somewhat paranoid about being caught without water (hey, if you lived in some of the places I have, you'd want to make sure you had water on you, too). I have lived in towns or cities most of my life, but with enough visits to the bush (and bushie grandparents who helped raise me), that I do know something about it, at least.
