Dumbass. The League of Nations was pretty powerless
when adressing beligerent members, and Ziggy adressed that.
But in this situation, the self-interest of at least two major members would be endangered - and both France and Britain could easily kick Italys ass.

Huh, so instead of "WW2" we get "Another colonial war in Africa with France and Britain smacking Italy like a cheap ho".
I suppose the USSR would basically just be wary of a skechy Poland on one side and Japan's war in the East. In fact, given the history, they'd probably think they had more reason to be worried about an aggressive Japan than anything in Europe.
How much of Russia's inter-war armament plans and officer purges depended on Hitler's politics..? Dodging the Versailles Treaty, etc. How much of that would have been done with the Reichswehr and Weimar politics? Would Stalin have been able to keep hold of the USSR so easily without the threat of the Reich? He seems like the kind of guy that people would get tired of fairly quickly without an outside threat...
It is indeed interesting to think of how much really did, in fact, seem to hinge on one guy.
