On a related note, I'm surprised there aren't more Mario Bros/ Assassin's Creed two amalgam fanarts. I mean, Mario says 'It'sa me! Mario!' and everything. That's just BEGGING for mockery.

And yes, the DRM is absolutely suck, Molyneux. Getting rid of it is by far the best thing a user can do to make the game playable.
It doesn't get rid of the occasional CTD, but it helps.
The way autosave on AC2 works is weird. If you start a misison, then get money, or a collectible or someesuch midmission, then 'desynch' or the game crashes, you lose all mission progress, but keep your money or items. Though I think it only works for money for chests.

For the record, PC game still gets you Uplay points.

Master Assassin Ezio chan and her magical companion dog Leonardo are hilarious and creepy all at once.

It gets funnier, that's a he. Assassin's Creed II the shoujo manga, anyone? This here is "she-Ezio."

Umm, you know that's a shoutout, right? Like, really obviously clearly intentional because everybody knows the line and they just couldn't help themselves? There's a difference between groaning, which is warranted because it's just silly*, and mockery.

Oh, I know full well it was intentional. They couldn't have not known. I'm just saying I figured they knew they were tempting fate by putting their groaner of an homage in and I'm surprised so few folks responded with affectionate ribbing/ mockery in the form of fanart.
