Hehe... Guys think that lesbians are cool, while being gay is just wrong. Girls I spoke to think the exact opposite thing.

I personally know about half a dozen people who are either gay or bisexual, out of a school of 1500 where I know maybe 75 well. And 4 are drama, one music, one business (she's the lone bi). Find me a cute guy, I'll show you a hot lesian (seriously)! Down here, cute gays are hard to come by. Good looking lesbians... not so hard.
Nothing wrong with guys being gay, it just doesn't flip my switches. However, since girls do flip my switches, the thought of two girls making out is much more interesting to me than of two guys making out. In return, most girls I know who like Yaoi say basically the same thing. It's two hot guys for the price of one.Exonerate wrote:Hehe... Vegans...meh. Eat what they want, I don't care, it just means more pepperoni pizza for me. If they want to give me a hard time about it, I'll just remind them of all the animals they slaughter harvesting the crops that they eat. If they don't bug me, I don't bug them. My current roomie is a vegetarian, which I see as a good thing. It means that at the very least, he won't steal my food from the fridge. The Dark wrote:I personally know about half a dozen people who are either gay or bisexual, out of a school of 1500 where I know maybe 75 well. Really cool guy, lives a floor up from me. I try to avoid eating meat around him, though I forget every once in a while. Luckily, he no longer thinks all Christians are heartless bastards after getting to know me (the Christian Right really needs a collective hot poker enema). Although today he asked me if I was a Republican...not quite sure where that came from(I'm an Independent...as far as I'm concerned, the whole party system is screwed up).
Been there, done that... Problem was she was pretty hot either way, though she got my attention when I thought she was a guy...Admiral Valdemar wrote:The lesbians I have seen are okay-ish, I did mistake one for a man though. Damn that short hair.

But this drag crap.
There is a difference between being a homosexual and being an insult to your dang sex.
WTF?
What is the point about dressing up like a woman?
All I know is that if my Roomie came in drag one night, I would start locking him out of the dang room...

Personally, I'm flattered when gay guys hit on me. Someone told me they thought that was because it was demeaning for men to dress as women because they were dressing down in station, like the master of the house dressing as the servant.
I don't believe they were taken into consideration when this person made this statement.Connor MacLeod wrote:What about kilts?Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?

Yeah, it is, but it does tend to get a little disconcerting, especially when you're 17 and you're trying to prove to the rest of your homophobic peer group that you're not gay. (Apparently my not giving a shit whether you're gay or not scares them. AssholesNF_Utvol wrote: Personally, I'm flattered when gay guys hit on me. You're talking to the male version of a fag hag. I beg to differ.Kelly Antilles wrote:They may look hot, but they usually are the flaming annoying kind. School lets out May 15th, IIRC, so your window of opprotunity is pretty small.Vorlon1701 wrote:Damn, gonna be another few months before I go there![]()
Well, if your friends are homophobic, I'd suggest trying to educate them. Or, should worse come to worse, don't care what they say. If you're secure in your sexuality, you've got nothing to worry about.Yeah, it is, but it does tend to get a little disconcerting, especially when you're 17 and you're trying to prove to the rest of your homophobic peer group that you're not gay. Hehe. Irony at work. The Yosemite Bear wrote:I can't wait till April the idiots in Yosemite's group bookings just can't figure out that certian conventions should not be booked in a three mile valley on the same week. Yup every November we have the California Winemakeers association convention at the Awanee Hotel, the same week as AA has "Serenity In the Mountains" across the valley.
April we have the "Rainbow Spring Break" the same week as a Fundamentalist group has their "Pre-Easter retreat"
Assuming that this trend is true, I would accredit it to the following fact: women who find other women attractive can be divided into two categories: lesbians and bisexuals. There is some overlap between the two groups. Attractive women who are bisexual/lesbians will tend to become bisexual, as opposed to lesbians, because men will try to date them more frequently and notice them more often.Kelly Antilles wrote:Go to a NCAA Women's basketball game. I spent the entire weekend surrounded by ACC alumni and lesbians. I honestly do not mean to be sexist when I say this, but how come gay guys are usually really cute (and I don't mean effeminate) and most lesbians are fairly not pretty?
My apologies to Marina and IB if this is offensive. I did not say all. I just noticed a huge amount.
They. Aren't. Usually, gay guys (to other gay guys, anyhow) are faitly ... not cute. All the hot guys are straight and/or taken. In any case, unavailable.
