What also amuses the hell outta me are the people who use 'ghetto' as an adjective.

"Dude, that shoe's really ghetto."(In reference to a $150 pair of shoes)

"Your house is ghetto."(In reference to a large, suburban house in a quiet suburban neighborhood)

"This school is ghetto."(In reference to large, well-funded, adequetely staffed middle school with a fairly good reputation)

I've heard all three and more. I don't think thugs/gangstas can actually understand what the other is saying, which is probably why they get into fights all the time.

What about "Dude, that ghetto is really ghetto?" Or have they never actually seen a ghetto.
