The "Lindberg Law" & "White Slavery Law" is still in effect, Kidnapping a minor and transportation across state lines for "Immoral Pursposes" is a Federal crime punishable by either Life in prison or by the Death Penalty.

It's one of the three exceptions to the supream court's abolishment of the Death Penalty in 1972. The other two are Cop Killers, and Hijackers.

and to prove Innerbrat's assesment. Yes, since it doesn't matter wiether or not the kid lives or dies, if you kidnap a child, crossstate lines, and then rape the child. You can be punished by death at the Federal court level. A lot of Child Molesters kill their victims.
