Oh. You said theoretical. As in la-la-land. Got ya.
Of all people here you should be more interested in underlying production and demand characteristics, rather than what we see filtered through the capitalist/monetarist mechanism. A major part of the communist ideology is about how far out of sync the later is with the former, and how money should be greatly reduced in importance by having central beurecrats take over most decisions formerly made by individuals optimising cashflow. Finding an economic mechanism that tracks more closely to the actual realities of individual demand and capability is a good thing (from a utilitarian perspective). We absolutely need a less distorting economic system; but one that doesn't destroy initiative, choice, transparency, honesty, freedom, responsibility, productivity and innovation the way communism does.

Spare me that moralizing.
Lì ci sono chiese, macerie, moschee e questure, lì frontiere, prezzi inaccessibile e freddure
Lì paludi, minacce, cecchini coi fucili, documenti, file notturne e clandestini
Qui incontri, lotte, passi sincronizzati, colori, capannelli non autorizzati,
Uccelli migratori, reti, informazioni, piazze di Tutti i like pazze di passioni...

...La tranquillità è importante ma la libertà è tutto!
