Huh...I didn't realize I sounded that cranky.

Actually it's just all the references you make to your wife. You sound as if you two have been living together for decades. So I figured that you did.

Been married 2 years, together for 5. Does feel like decades though sometimes...and not in a bad way.

41... I think... Maybe 42. Stopped caring once I hit 25 and my bike insurance went down, and couldn't be arsed to work it out.

23, fairly recently. I find myself wondering where the year since my last birthday went.

That's three of us, then. I was five years (and eight months) old, and near the end of second grade. Yes, that means that I skipped a grade when I was young.

Another original Warsie here.
First movie I paid to see more than once in the theater. I think it was 5 or 7 times, don't quite remember anymore.

I guess I could technically be An Original Warsie. I was a little shy of a year at that point, but I was
there man.

Not quite old enough for the original, although it's likely it was in the cinema's in the UK when I was born. I do remember Empire strikes back at the cinema, although I suspect it might have been quite a while after the original release as I would have been three at the time.

I'm 28, turning 29 with the new year. I remember joining this board as a teenager, 12 years ago. I was such a little brat back then.

I am quite surprised by the results on this. I expected the average value to be 3 categories down to be honest.

Another original Warsie, Dad took me to see it on it's original release in the UK, would have been nearly five at the time.

Yeah...being a good distance down the slope of the bell curve places me firmly in the "Old Fart" category. Stupid mathematics.

Well yes but it's generally dangerous to refer to a woman as an old ANYTHING....

Especially a woman who owns and knows how to use a crossbow...

Some preliminary number-crunching, then, the basic stuff.
If we assume that everyone is in the middle of each age category (with the exception of the "under 20" category, for which I assumed that both members were 19), then the average age of respondents is 30.7 years. The median looks to be at the top end of the 25-29 category, so let's just say 29.
I may try to factor in the actual claimed ages to make things a little more accurate, but it's not always easy to separate the wheat from the chaff. Really, J, 28?

It was the first movie I went to without any adults. Some friends and I even road the city bus downtown so we could see the movie.
It was also the first movie I saw more than once in the theater. I saw it once with my friends and once again with my dad and sister.

No, not really.
Since I was recently asked to present ID at the LCBO I'm clearly 25 or younger.

You must have been a very precocious 13-year-old indeed when you joined us here at SD.Net. (Well, not "us" exactly, since I apparently came on board a few days after you did.)
