The biggest cave spider I've encountered was one with legs each measuring roughly 25-30 centimetres (varied from leg to leg) and with a 2 inch long body. Location - Mole Creek Caves system, in "Hexagon" (I think that was the name of that particular piece of hole in the ground). That thing scared the living fucking shit out of me.

The Largest spider in the world is in South America I believe... it's a Tarantula that can get a foot across, and has 1 inch long fangs. They only eat the legs. This is correct I believe.
