I make copies of Birth certificates for people too stupid to get them 4 weeks before they absoluted positively needed to have them overnight.
I also make copies of Death certificates.

I occassionally get told I'm an angel, a miracle worker, a wonder(ful person), or 'a dear'.

I occassionally get called names by people who can't get what they want.

I've been offered tips, had countless lil' old ladies bless me, and once I even got KrispyKreme donuts, all for doing my job as best I can.

As of this past paycheck, I've made $11,000 this year. I've paid nearly $3000 in taxes. I might get back $900.

As of last week, I'm now a medical research associate for NFO Migliara/Kaplan, and a part-time employee at High Grounds, a new espresso shop run by the family of a very good friend of mine. And a part time percussion teacher as well.

Wow, I remember you saying you were just about through with your school over the field trip thingy (not that I blame you). Never did hear anything else about it, so I guess you gave them the finger then. Good for you.

What kind of medical research? Animals, kids, sleep disorders, hmmmm, sex?

You are a part of the evil conspiracy then! Burn, heretic!

As for me... I'm just another useless, worthless university student who evidently can only think with his organ, not his brain.

Currently unemployed, but I've got an interview at the school district this week to sign on for a substitute teaching job until I go to grad school. I'd say writer, but I haven't actually gotten paid for that yet.

Heh, if you had said writer I would have posed the obvious follow-up question: "Oh a writer... so, seriously, how do you make money?" :D

I work 40 hours a week in a greenhouse which is way too hot inside. There are some fun things though, like the times I get to use deadly chemicals without proper protective gear because it is too hot to wear it :(
