Also, a FS was by definition and design more democratic than any ban by fiat. Everyone in the community had to support the Solution for it to have effect. If only one or two wavered, the whole thing would fall apart. Many trolls, or at least rabid Trekkers, were eventually nominated for FS's, but the original with TOWNMNBS is the only one that stuck.
