NOW THATS A STRAWMAN!!

Wong we are not convicting them of anything by making sure they aren't carrying explosives on board planes. IF it looks like they are commiting a terroristy attack, why should we give them a trial? I can't think of a reason. It isn;t like they were planning on giving anyone they were going to murder a trial. Make no mistake, these guys are going ot murder allot of innocent people who have no connection to the government.


When you are a nation, such as ours, which is essentially an ethos instead of an actual race, like germans or spainards you have 2 types of people who want to come into your nation:

1) immigrants
2) colonists

You want immigrants to come and adopt your culture and meld in. You do not want colonists who don't have loyalty to your country. why, becasue they are trying to take over country, and replace it with another. This is a tactic used today still. War is a great way to do this, to seperate the colonists from the imigrants by seeing which group is willing to fight.

Decry it all you want, it works. Every country that fails to seperate the 2 are in for trouble, that includes most euro countries and canada.

"Changing the subject" fallacy. We were talking about being questioned without cause, or interned without due process. That has nothing to do with being prevented from carrying explosives into an airport.

You want immigrants to come and adopt your culture and meld in. You do not want colonists who don't have loyalty to your country.

When did I ever disagree with this? I agree that immigrants should try to blend into the local culture and demonstrate some loyalty to the country. You don't see ME ranting and raving about my Chinese "heritage", do you?

Anyway, how does this justify racial profiling? BTW, I see that everyone ignored my earlier point about how many of the 9/11 hijackers would have been cleared for not acting like devout Muslims.
