Ah, caffeine, my second-best friend next to sugar...
I'd go insane if it wasn't for caffeine.

you see, that´s a thing i dont do, and i dont understand why people do it. caffeine doesnt give you anything. if you dont do it regularly it will make you fit. but if you need that stuff in the morning to wake up (exaggerated), well, that´s stupid!
This is how I got addicted:
Age 6 I met my friend mr. soda
Age 8 mmm... tea
Age 12 so this is what coffee tastes like.
Why am I bringing this up, you ask? My theory is that all these corporations which produce drinks with caffeine have an agreement along these lines.
1:Soda to introduce children to caffeine.
2.Tea to introduce children to "hot" drinks to caffeine.
3.Coffee to cement the addiction.
That's why we're addicted, we were screwed over by Coca Cola, Pepsi, ect.

How is that being paranoid?

Actually, I don't drink tea or coffee. I don't like the taste of either. My second addiction to sugar is why I stick to Coke. I get my caffeine from that and chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, chocolate.

Got drunk and hungover a couple times, then went "fuck it" and I've never gotten drunk since then. I'll have an occasional drink or 2, but that's it. As for drugs I've experimented with a few in my 1st year of university and didn't like them much, never touched them again. I do find it quite amusing though to attend parties where people are drunk or high and doing tons of stupid and hilarious stuff. You have not lived until you've seen a group of drunk girls try to change a light bulb, it took over half an hour and by the time they were done I'd completely exhausted myself from laughing so hard.

There are only 4-5 of those days per month. It's tolerable.
And then there's the problem of sex deprivation.. very very ugly..

My wife has never witheld sex. I suspect this is due to the fact that I worship the ground she walks on, and I tell her that at every opportunity.
About smoking, here in the E.U we are not fascist about it, like in the U.S. I have many friends who smoke. I merely ask them to smoke for the other side.
My point is: I know it's not healthy, then why bother trying it?
It's not "fascist" to tell people not to smoke when they're in enclosed public areas where others would be forced to inhale their pollution. I'm not allowed to run the tailpipe of my car into a fucking Denny's.
As for the whole "getting drunk = fun" thing, I remember going through that age when much of my peer group thought that was true. It's a phase that people go through, when they think that you need to remove your capacity for rational thought in order to have fun. Most grow out of it by their mid to late 20s. White trash don't for some reason.
As for me, I will continue insisting that my wife is the only drug I need

I need caffeine.
You know how much caffeine Jolt has? Well, Wawa sells this little bottles of red soda for 1.06 a pop; they're called 'Red Lightening' and they have 6 times as much caffeine as Jolt.
Mmm....lightening.

It's not good to be dependent on something like that to wake up in the morning. Cold water on the face and a brisk walk is always enough to wake me up.

I'm addicted to both Root Beer and Cherry Coke. I must have one or the other at least once a day. The vending machines here are only feeding the addiction...*drool*

This is one of my posts from ASVS a few months ago, not much has changed since then.
Lets see...
I drink quite a bit and probably too regularly, but hey, I'm at uni.
I've had marijuana in the majority of its forms (joints, bongs,
biscuits...).
I've used ecstasy once or twice (can't be sure due to coinciding drinking
binge).
I've had "herbal E's", that are still legal here and just as good, they are
also available from your local healthfood store (for the most part).
I don't smoke cigarettes, but do smoke cigars from time to time, especially
if at "The Temple Place" a really great jazz/blues club with a cigar lounge.
Whenever I feel myself coming down with a flu, I load up on about double the
recommended dose of pseudoephidrine and take two panadeine fortes. And then
pass out for about a day.
I take rhinocort and beconase occasionally to clear the sinuses.
I take claratyne regularly throughout the spring and summer to slow down
hayfever.
I use voltaren (muscle relaxant and mild anaesthetic cream) on a far too
regular basis.
I much panadol like candy after a game of rugby or gridiron.
And last, but not least, my greatest drug... Chocolate coated coffee beans.
Double whammy of caffeine. Perfect thing for a uni student who keeps
nocturnal hours, but still has to go to uni during the day.
I think thats it. There are a couple of 4-24hr gaps in my memory where I
might have used other stuff, but thats what I remember.

If I dont get a Coke by 10 or 11 am and am such a man bitch!
Actually, Ive gotten my caffeine habit down to two times a day. One at lunch and 1 for breakfast. At times I do drink more, but I try not to.
Mainly cause I worry about my teeth, not the caffeine.

Yeah coffee can really wreck havoc on your teeth.
