It's a ward of repelling evil. Any evil creature that attempts to get with 100 feet hits an invisible forcefield. As if an outsider had tried to walk through a circle of protection vs evil.+

Malakar grins easily.
(In Draconic) "Ok course I speak Draconic, my friend. Do you not recognize me?" Malakar bows his head slightly. "Have you ever heard of the elven ranger they call Tree-Guard? That is, well, was my 'nickname' in my homeland for some time, though I doubt anyone except my closest friends remember it." Malakar extends his lithe hand, and shakes Tsagaorth's.

"Tis a ward, keeps us safe from the critters in the wood."

Tsaroth turns his head from Keenen and Malakar and adresses the dwarf.

"Well my friends, it is a ward of protection from evil with a 100 ft radius. Any evil creature that gets within a hundred feet is blocked from entrance."

Tsaroth's face turns red and Dahaks turns gold as they realize that the other elf understood everything they said.

"Oh, my... I have heard that name. Though, I was young, by elf standards at least. I bet that conversation was a bit... odd" He said with a nervous grin

"Damn him," he cursed under his breath, and managed to smile at him. Though the rest of his body dropped in a more aggressive stance.
"Like eavesdropping on other people, ey?"

"Well, I dont think he had much choice... we were right next to him" Tsaroth said with a nervous chuckle

"So finally they speak a tongue I can understand." Replies Grozny, turning with tankard in hand, "You know much for one in such a backwater. You must've travelled far yes? come drink with us"

Barkeep: "You can move the tables, but you've movin um back."

The wind gets a bit stronger.

His stance slackened a bit. "Then I'll forgive you for it."
He listened to the winds outside. "But I'm not sure if it is wise to venture outside. Seems like a strom is brewing."

"well, we may be able to enlist our dwarven friends if the need is great. We can work over the details over anice cup of hot wine and a good meal."

"An offer of food? What kind of a Dwarf would I be to turn you down?" chuckles Grozny as he turns, and brings his drink and all with him, and puts himself down on the table. "And barkeep, is there anyway of getting that door to stop rattling, its getting beyond annoying"

"Yes..the forest is uneasy these days. Even though I can usually travel through it without harm, today I was attacked by several treants before I got them calmed down..something is upsetting it." Malakar scoots out of his booth and slides into an empty chair at the group of tables.
