I live about ten miles from the Mexican border where prostitution is readily available. While I have given it extensive thought, I really wouldn't want to go that route for sex.

Assume that it's completely legal, and relatively safe (like the upscale places in Nevada, not in a van down by the river).

Although it's crossed my mind in the midst of long dry spells, I don't think that I ever would unless I end up old and single. I appreciate the simplicity of the transaction but I think I'd feel ashamed afterwards, like I should be able to get a date in a more traditional matter (like spending the money on dinners and flowers). That, and it'd be hard to explain your past to a potential future wife. "Oh baby, before you, it was hookers, whores and harlots, but now you're the only one for me..."

I wouldn't do it, no. Though, for me, it's really a matter of pride. I mean, to pay someone exclusively for sex? I would not let myself be insulted so.

If it's reasonably priced, I see no reason why not.

In fact, if it was reasonably priced (and reasonably clean), I'll do it even if it is illegal. That is, unless I happen to be in a relationship at the time.
