Fondor's yards and Bilbringi's shipyard are KDY property.
So in other words KDY OWNS the yards at Fondor and Bilbringi and Gydine
Also if wouldn't be too much trouble i would like to know the main subsidorys of KDY.
We do not know for sure if Fondor and Bilbringi yards are owned by KDY. I do not believe they are owned by KDY dur to the economic competition. Now it might very well be the competition of two managers of the same company but I have never seen any cannon evidence of that.

I believe the EGtVV says KDY themselves made them.
There was a KDY factory world depicted in Rogue Squadron 64 which produced walker armor.

Sure you have.
They cannot produce KDY licensed products without being part of KDY, can they?

You do realise that there is very little to virtually no Pure Canon (Films) information that exists regarding any of this, don't you? Virtually all of it is from Lower Canon and Official materials.

I assume you are talking about the Executor and it being built at Fondor? Well I would think that Vader could have is flagship be built anywhere. I was also under the impression that the Executor was the first Super Star Destroyer built. If it was, then you could build the ship at whatever yard and then license the rest of the Super Star Destroyers to KDY. Also, after the collapse of the Empire when there were various warlords, all the warlords built their own ISDs. Now, where the yards at which they were built were not licensed to KDY and were built personally. Now I am assuming they are not lisenced due to the isolation of the warlords, i.e. Harassk, Dealvardous, ect.
And I am not familiar with the types of ships Bilbringi built.

Ya I do realize that, but I have still not seen any canon evidence about Fondor being owned by KDY, wheather it be films, comics, or books. And I am not sompletely opposed to the idea but it just seems odd that they would be.

It's "canon," one N.
"cannon" is a gun.
Sorry, but some of us get really annoyed by that.

Sorry, but KDY designed and developed the infrastructure for the ISD and SSD. They are KDY vessels.
Besides, Fondor's corporate products are what? What is licensed to Fondor? What to they produce...oh yeah, KDY designs...
As for the small yards belonging to the Empire; they are military-operated, not corporate yards.

I'm looking at the original EGVV, and it doesn't say anything about the manufacturer. Maybe the new one says more.
The
Unofficial Encyclopedia lists them as KDY, citing the Dark Force Rising Sourcebook.
I guess they are just under the main KDY banner.

true, true also i would think if KDY seperated they would still be able to build a ISD since they built them before and the plans would be somewhere.

... is what happens when you get it
wrong. "Oh no! I wrote "cannon" with two 'n's! What am I to do?" *Splat*
... is what happens when you get it
right. "Canon with 1 'n' is the ONLY way to go, Timmy!"
Remember boys and girls: grammar nazis don't fool around! [/end public service announcement]
In all seriousness it's not that hard to type only one 'n'. But I guess typos will continue being the thorn in the side of conscientious proof readers everywhere... so long as you know the difference between 'canon' and 'cannon' you should be alright.

I knew the difference except I obviously was getting them confused. I do apologize for the error.

Lets not forget that you too Jax had spelling errors in previous threads where you were, by what you wrote, deeply annoyed.

But that is off topic.

Only works when the Empire's fallen apart, the galaxy is in choas, and the company gets away with whatever it can.
During the OT they're both operating under the Empire, and Kuat wouldn't let blatent copyright violations go unpunished.
They should be KDY property at least in the OT.
