Ahh, the old days when there were no VCRs and you could only watch movies on a big screen.

Don't get me wrong; I have many VCRs and DVD players myself and I like them. But there's something to be said for the widespread notion that the "fast forward" button has directly contributed to the infinitesimal attention span of modern moviegoers. When you get into a habit of searching through movies looking for the action sequences, directors will eventually start making movies where this is no longer necessary.

Why haven't all these porn directors figured it out then? *fumes every time he sees them keep up with some totally innane plot when it's obvious none of the characters really cares*

Does that mean there will be two version of the same movie, one with the boring romance and sex and one full of action violence and senseless destruction.

Ah, those were the days...
Personally, I like 'The Great Old Ones', because-well, I can't do anything about the Old One part (first issue in '39, remember?), so I guess I'll go for Greatness if I can have it.
'Original Warsies' has a nice ring, too.

How dreadfully predictable.
I seem to recall you saying this was one of the reasons you stayed around the place, Master Bruce.
Who asked you anyway?

The worst thing I ever had was last night. Three chicks, all very, very nice to look at, and didn't seem fake at all. Anyway, they're in these quite revealing bathing suits (one of 'em anyway, ROWR! I wish more girls had that one!). One of 'em is some romance author, so she starts talking out this stuff to make 'em hot'n'heavy, and the other two (including the sweet, inoocent younger one) start "acting it out" via hands over the body, a spoon out of a cup of tea on the breasts, etc... Do they continue into the female threesome every guy is by now screaming for?

No.

Motherfuckers and their teasing in porn...

Are talking about trouble now that we are over 30 or just ever? Heck, my morning erections go away before I even get out of bed. They used to last to the toilet but not now.

I like Original Warsie so much, I went ahead and stuck it in my sig :D I like The Ancients or Great Old ones too, so whatever's cool with me.

I was lucky, both my mom and dad and all my uncles really liked Star Wars, so I saw it 7 times in the theatre as a kid 8)

So, it's more or less decided on "Original Warsie", or what? Come on, we're not getting any YOUNGER here!

But that's okay. Because we saw it all on the big screen back when Han shot first. :D

How about Skeletors? Since the ravages of age and all have made them all dusty skeletons who are too stubborn to quit.

Wouldn't that fit better with Mum-Ra (from Thundercats). He was basically an old mummy who refused to die and stay dead.

Actually, Original Warsie won't count too well.

Sure, now it might, but what about when more people become 30, and it's past when SW was first out in theaters?

"Original Warsie" is too time specific, it should be more general than that methinks.

So we assume the 'Original' in 'Original Warsie' refers to the OT and worry about a new name by the time it's past when RotJ was first out in theaters. I fail to see the problem.
Sig updated, naturally.

An over 30 group is time specific, as well. Anyone too young to have been their will have to form their own group.
The name fits like a glove.

Yeah, but what about in, say, four years or so with the new 30 year olds?
