No, and even if, it is, as I said, no fun to go to sleep, wake up, and suddenly 5+ pages of action happened.

Well, we certainly can't control who posts when you're asleep, it's simply a variable. You should've assigned control to someone incase you're not here (like Alyrium to Rouge 9, etc).
Also, there are some portals in the abyss that could lead back to the material plane...

The safest way to kill a vamp is to cut off its head and fill its mouth with holy wafers or some other blessed items. The second he regenerates, he's dead again.
Of course, throwing him into the abyss wasn't a bad idea.

As stated in SW thread, going to be mostly unavailable for several days, ask that someone take it upon themselves to misuse my character in the event of combat.

Our DM is missing. It would appear his planned reformat has failed in the most spectacular way possible. Therefore, we should probably decide what we want to do. This thread bumped up to keep the game thread free of clutter.

Once again, I request that someone use me as a human shield if I turn out to be off-line. I have no objections to any of you exerting temporary control over 'Captain Tardy'.

Nope. You still have to pay the xp cost. The only effects affected are magical ones.
