Yeah.. I agree.. Now I will have to manually search for every meeting place by looking for the magicla items they use... GOD DAMN IT!!!

Now that I'm dead anyway, I won't join again.
It's unfortunately entirely unsatisfying to have everything take place over deep night, for me at least.

Actually, your not gone, the DM said that you can control your char if you want.

Of course, then your a half-dragon vampire trapped in the abyss. You woudln't happen to have a portal handy would you?

No, and even if, it is, as I said, no fun to go to sleep, wake up, and suddenly 5+ pages of action happened.

Well, we certainly can't control who posts when you're asleep, it's simply a variable. You should've assigned control to someone incase you're not here (like Alyrium to Rouge 9, etc).
Also, there are some portals in the abyss that could lead back to the material plane...

That doesn't kill vamps in D&D.

Well, it does, but they come back in a little while.

The safest way to kill a vamp is to cut off its head and fill its mouth with holy wafers or some other blessed items. The second he regenerates, he's dead again. :P
Of course, throwing him into the abyss wasn't a bad idea.

As stated in SW thread, going to be mostly unavailable for several days, ask that someone take it upon themselves to misuse my character in the event of combat.

Our DM is missing. It would appear his planned reformat has failed in the most spectacular way possible. Therefore, we should probably decide what we want to do. This thread bumped up to keep the game thread free of clutter.

Once again, I request that someone use me as a human shield if I turn out to be off-line. I have no objections to any of you exerting temporary control over 'Captain Tardy'.

So... with a Mythal here does that mean we'll be facing Phaerhim coming to feed off it?

I'd give it a good 95% chance. The other 5% is in case the City of Shade somehow gets here first. >_<

Phaerimm, Shade.. You know, the usual. Come on, it's a nice change from vampires that run away each time.

That was a lot of vampires for a group that's supposedly laying low and carefully regulating their feeding habits to ward off suspicion of their presence...

Yeah... this could be really fun.

Especially if someone wishes Tormantineth up to her next Age Category.

Hey, with the Mythal negating XP costs for magic items, does this mean that if I chose to multi-class as a Kensai, I wouldn't have to spend XP to imbue my chosen weapon?

Nope. You still have to pay the xp cost. The only effects affected are magical ones.

Well, I'm calling it a night. I'll try to get online during work, otherwise it will be 6ish EST.
