Exactly. The Canadian Scouts tell you that you don't have to tell them what your religion (or lack thereof) is if you don't want to. The American Scouts tell you that if you don't believe in the Judeo-Christian God, you can't join. Not exactly the same thing.
Really? Odd, that wasn't an issue when my brother and dad were in it. My dad's a Buddhist, and so was my brother.

The national decision came only recently. And even now a lot the councils and troops ignore it.
