I caught part of it in the car. I could'nt believe how bad he was, and he just can't let go of using the words "Iraq and terror" in the same sentence.

My favorite part was the last thing he said, I can’t remember the exact words, but something like, "It's important for world leaders to know that I will follow through with what I say, because America's credibility is critical." That's ont an exact quote, but I know he used the word "credibility". It took me five minutes to stop laughing. (or was it sobbing?)

His defense for the war was "Saddam Hussein was an evil man."

Question about WMD = "Saddam Hussein was an evil man."
Iraqs links to terrorism = "Saddam Hussein was an evil man."
Current figting in Iraq = "Saddam Hussein was an evil man."

I was at work and apparently I didn't miss much.

The maddening thing for me is that I believed the sonofabitch when they were talking about WMD's last year and backed the war on that basis.

I'm still waiting for the first one to be found. :P

He's a lying bastard, but I can't bring myself to vote for Kerry.
I'm writing in a vote for Dean this year.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

Actually, Bush made some intimations that he still believes that weapons will be found or are there. He casually mentioned that Libya showed us where their weapons were (hidden on turkey farms, among other things), and that we'd have never found them if they hadn't told us where to look. (I could almost hear Axis Kast raving and ranting in the background about how he was "vindicated.")

Well, we better not know, WHAT is behind it. It would be either disturbing, or really disappointing.

Where it not for Vympel's posts at that time I probably would have believed the WMD lies too (thank you Vympel), also I was oposed to a war in any case.

Is it a bad sign when I happen to walk by a TV showing the conferance at school, and in the time it took me to walk by, I noticed Dubya avoiding several questions, repeating pointless catch-phrases, and generally being an evasive dipshit no less than three times?

I never vocally opposed the war, but I never supported it, either.
Bush NEVER said a damned thing I didn't already know, if he's had new info on the lead-up, it may have been a different story, but his October 2002 speech in Cincinnati was the last straw for me, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.
