Given that your uplink's uplink is blackholing packets the only thing you people can do is lean on your connectivity provider to lean on Time Warner Telecom to fix their router. There does not appear to be anything wrong with SB's server.

(this is of course assuming that SB's server isn't connected by two routes and the route leading to 66.162.99.2 hasn't, for instance, suffered a cut fibre.)

<keeping fingers crossed>

And in case anyone's wondering, it's 3DG and the SB graphic art forum that I'm ticked off about losing more than anything else. I'm not particularly bothered about vs and other such places...

Problems accessing SB and other sites on the 3DF server

Hi,

I've been in touch with the host and they have told me that the only way to solve this is to get the IPs of some of the people who are having difficulties connecting, as the server uses assymetric routing, so the route back to the client is more important than the route from the client to the server...

So, if you could get some of those people to connect to the net and see if they can get to the SB forums or not... and if they can't, send their IP address to you so I can see what's going on. If they don't know their IP because it's dynamically assigned to them by their ISP, they can find it by opening up a DOS prompt while they are connected to the net, and running 'ipconfig /all', then copy/pasting the returned text into an email and send it to kier@vbulletin.com .
