It was? In what ways?
When Kyle came in and blew out the stone, the mission briefing clearly said Jerec's power had been weakened. If you'll recall, the final duel had you hurrying to kill Jerec BEFORE he could return to his fuill power using the Valley. You waited too long, he used that white-ball thingy on you that he used in the opening movie.
And the dark-side ending? With Kyle as Emperor?
Doesn't have to mean he absorbed it all. But enough to be a powerful Dark Jedi.... that I can see. You just have to be careful with 'dosage' as it were, in the valley.

BTW, I too cast my vote on shadowtropers being Reborn in the new Armani Cortosis line...

It seems more like he recharges (The phrase in the briefing was 'rejuvinate') himself during the fight, and distracts you, as opposed to being initially weak.

So, Rahn's just a fan of exxageration then? :?

Rahn got ass-fucked by Jerec. He's not a reliable witness....

And, further, I don't see how your statement contradicts here. He was weakened by the sudden explosion of power, and had to recharge using the Valley's power more gradually. That doesn't mean he absorbed ALL of it or even a significant portion.

Let's look at Desann - he takes enough power to energize himself(i.e, give himself that cheating Push and unbreakable Grip), but he leaves enough to get an army of Reborn at his side. If he could get enough power safely to casually induce supernovas, as it were, why bother with the Reborn?

You know what I like, the same time that they became more resistant to lightsabers, the became really shitty at breaking out of force chokes.

*shrugs* Well, I based that assumption on a piece of dialogue between 2 stormtroopers. I think it was part 2 of Galak's ship, at the beginning of the level.
