Gutenberg did not invent the printing press. He copied it from the Chinese and gave himself credit for "inventing" it because inventions by non-white people don't count. Not something worthy of hero-worship in my opinion.

Dunno
And while the Chinese may have been the first to use it, it was Gutenburg's introduction of it to Europe that helped revitalize Europe and assured the West's continued cultural dynamism.

Ooh, I need to do some extra training for forgetting to mention O Sensei. Then again, sensei's decided to start using me as his training dummy, so I may not need the extra work...he accidentally hyperextended my ankle last week, and his grip is like a bear's (no offense intended, YB).
