Er...Rogue? If you want people to join, it's best to post an IP to join to. Unless you think we're telepathic. I was watching for a post/PM for, oh, an hour or so, before I gave up and went to do other things.

I want to play, but only if it's against the computer... I need to get the hang of it some more before fighting a human opponent.

Hmm. I just played the demo and the computer pwnd me. I suck at RTSes, yet I love them!

The demo has a skirmish mode too, IIRC. Sure you can only play SM and Orks, I think, but better some than no practice.



EDIT: Speaking of skirmishes; try to win a T&H game against a higher than Harder skill computer on a tiny map like Battle Marshes. It is DAMN hard. No, I haven't won yet; not even close.

EDIT2: Yeah, the comps in this game are TOUGH, unlike many other games.

Shinova, I, and Jedineophyte ran a couple games against the comps. They're good enough to make that a damn good workout, can even be too good if you're not careful. I'm game, give me a heads-up when you get the full game. Like I said, we'll be waiting

only SM's in the skirmish mode and all relics are replaced with stratigic points so none of the real kick butt units

Yeah, sucks to be DP right now. The kick-butt units are REALLY kick butt. Like Krogoth kick-butt. No other RTS has replicated that same awe-inspiring feeling with its uber-units.

(We shouldn't spoil anything for DP Though if you've played the demo mission, you've already seen---and suffered from---the Squiggoth)

Well... The Space Marines kick ass in the early game, but a Squiggoth will absolutely pwn a Land Raider, as I discovered to my chagrin last night when one of our idiot players dropped and I went to try and recover his position...

I'd be up for a game; I've not played it much, and I've yet to decide what (if anything) makes a difference to combat results aside from 'have shitloads of guys with uber guns', but there's one way to find out!
