Raxmei deserves a cookie for that link. Inquisitor is very useful for ideas and fluff for this kind of thing.

Well... It will probably lead to yet another total all-forum burnout for me just when I started posting again on SB, but most of the time it's worth it.
Anyway: If squads are accepted I'm going for an Imperial guard squad that may act as retinue for some inquisitors if they need some redshirts with lasguns.

If we're all going to be on the same side, then I'll likely be Marines or Guard. If not, I'll probably go Orky.

Well as one of the few Eldar here I'm playing a Harliquin advanced kit so I can do mercinary work...
exactly what you would hire me for is unknow, however beware my sense of humour

If we have Malleus inquisitors we have common ground to work with demon hating, Black Library owning, harlequins.
Interrogator: Uhh, dude, can I borrow your library card? I need to find out how to kill this demon prince . . .
Eldar: (Sigh) . . . .Yes mon keigh. Remember to leave everything the way you found it and not to drool on the pages.

*tempted to play Xenos Inquisitor and execute all involved parties for dealing with alien scum.*

Remember however, all Inquisitors get somewhat... Lenient. If they live long enough.

Depends on the Inquisitor. Throughout all Ordos, there are Radicals and Puritans and those in between. No matter how experienced, a Puritan Ordo Xenos would never allow consorting with aliens, Malleus with demons, and Hereticus with rogue psykers.

Bleep! Wrong. Inquisitors Eisenhorn and Heldane were Puritans. Heldane was, at his peak, one of the most Puritan, and by the time of his death was most certainly not.

Jesus fucking Christ . . . .I mean in the Emperor's Holy Name! Can we at least wait until we have a campaign before we start picking fights? I've been averaging a player killing a player a week for the last month of GMing, which is a more than we've had in two years. I know we are going to play callous, hardened, borderline insane, proto-sociopaths but we have to proto-sociopaths that play well with others.
And if you interfere with me accomplishing the Emperor's holy mission by whatever means I see fit, you will discover that there are fates worth than arcoflaggellation!:D

Did it seem like I was picking a fight? If so, I'm sorry. I didn't intend to come off that way.

I didn't mean to rebuke you. Didn't you see the smiley? One of the things that sucks about this form of communication is no body language, facial expressions, or tone of voice. It makes the forms of humor I favor a little more difficult.
Continue at it. Just don't get between me and whatever power I need to crush the foul followers of Chaos to pulp. Hmmm . . . .these xenos known as the Necrontyr seem to have some promising interests and technology. I wonder what it would take to get their assistance?

Oh, right. Well, krushing the kursed kohorts of Khaos might be a bit hard, when we seem to be lacking in anyone to play Chaos. Anybody want to play Thousand Sons?

If we are RPing, that is NecronLord's department. Which means we are at the mercy of someone who likes Necrons. Do you want to wet yourself now or later?

Oh, dear. I think I'll need someone more powerful than my Kroot Merc.

Don't Kroot have nice shooty long rifles? And aren't they pretty nasty HTH?
You'll do fine. You'll be as screwed as the rest of us. Muhahahahahah!!!!!

This shall be the IC thread.
I'll be needing serveral people to play inqisitors at the last. Eldar are permissible, but understand that being foul xenos on an Emperor Fearing world has its disadvantages. Tau and Kroot are also accessible, but dealing with chaos, which will be the thrust of the story at first, puts both at a disadvantage. An Adeptus Mechanicus group would also suit my ends...
If anyone wants to play a chaos cult, PM me.
Oh and no. There aren't any necrons planned at this stage... Though the Adeptus Mechanicus have questionable loyalties...
I've locked it for now so you can all read it, but not post until you've got characters (and retunites?) nailed down.

So, are retinues allowed? Is it admissable to have Kroot and Space Marines in the same Retinue, or couldn't they stand one another?
Posted: 2004-11-21 09:24am
by NecronLord
They're allowed. All Space Marines must be requisitioned by sending a request to the nearest chapter. They'll all be GM played.
And I doubt they'd be very pro-Kroot.

How do you want to handle character generation, my mercilious master?

Darnit, I had my very own chapter invented.
Does any Inquisitor need a Kroot merc or two?

Write a brief bio for each character. While I may note some stats or some such down for them, none of you will see the stats.

Aye. Took the kroot into account. You will note that it's in the Ultima Segmentum. I moved it just so you could have your kroot.

I'm planning on Inquisitor or Inquisitor trainee, depending on NecronLord's graces. If Malleus, I'll be more than willing to let Xenos take hits that would otherwise be directed at loyal servants of the Emperor.

Remember folks. Copious praise of my introduction gains your characters extra survivability. via the Grace of the Emperor.
