Pater flopped on to the ledge just as the magnet cut out, his head still ringing from the impacts. "Oh, you're a real funny shog, aren't you? He muttered, doing his best to swallow the temptation to throw up.
Kruger heard screaming over the comms link. Was that plasma fire? He grabbed a vox unit off a nearby technician and left the room, Chainsword humming.

"Got him! Station security located the interloper. At last report he seems to be heading this way." Qu'A called out.
"La'Cui'Sin, La'Du'Mas. Move to intercept marked target now."
"Affirmative. Moving to take him down Shas'Ui."
The dots on the screen were getting closer every second.

8 Kroot suddenly rounded the corner and skidded to a halt in front of the Tau. A phalanx of rifles came up from both sides. The tension was broken when a group of Imperial Storm Trooper rounded the bend at an easy pace. "Friends of yours, Shaper?" Said Slate. "It's a small galaxy." Too small, he thought. Xenos scum everywhere. He was so used to the Kroot by now that he hardly even remembered that they were aliens, too.
Pater took his boots and his mask off, and glanced around him. Was it over? It seemed too good to be true...

holofields dampening, allowing the cloaked solitare to appear to the occupant in a somewhat more formal pattern, that of a "Danse Macabre" preformer, black with the outline of a skeleton throught his bodysuit. tethered to his back by an ammo feed a large weapon with a meter and a half long barrel, floated by counter grav, behind him.
"A webway key is a most unusual artifact to find in the possession of one of your kind"- The voice was melodic, but with a deep subsonic resonance that put the hairs on edge for most mammals. "I suggest that we depart for a location with no living ears and discuss this, my holofields will still keep me from view of the security imagers in this room. however we shall have to travel into the infrastructure to activate a gateway without bringing attention to our selves."
"My name is Cait, at the present time I am without a troupe of my own, however I have had interactions with others of your kind, and It shall be impossible for me to complete my mission without assistance. Once we have reached a safe location on this station Either of us can open a webgate to the surface. There is a buried gateway down there, It was once a waypoint in a long ago war against our mutual anchient enemy.

The techpriest skittered to a halt. The auspex built into his head told them there were life forms nearby... Aliens.
Not that way.
He reached for something from the combat servitor. Laying the oval shaped cylinder against a wall, he dived back, the tracked cyborg following him. With a quiet hiss, the melta bomb detonated, fusing the corridor into a tangle of red hot iron and slag.
You won't get me that easy...

"Damnit... There aren't any other routes we can take. Especially not with those Kroot after him. Unless... The vents!"
"La'Tel'Phon, La'Nia'ga. Enter the vents from your location and work your way towards La'Cui'Sin and La'Du'Mas. La'Si'Kan and I'Kul do the same. Kir'Osh and Kal'El. Move to the docking bay... Here..." He pointed at the Map and Qu'A helpfully added that location to the helmet computers.
A chorus of Rogers and affirmatives came back to him.
"He won't get away alive as long as there is a single firewarrior on the station."
*Edit* edited to take into account hte fusing of the corridor instead of the techpriest escaping unseen somehow.

Slate sighed as he watched the Tau run back along the corridor, the Kroot following. Xenos just weren't very friendly. "Fireteam 2, secure the available control room. Fireteam 1, follow me. We can't let these aliens have all the fun."

The human, was in good condition, yet could barely keep up with the long legged Cait, The acess corridore, was mostly ignored, as smells from the waste recyclers seemed to fill the space. The relay substation was abandoned enough for their purpsoes. Which purhaps that was why it came as such a shock that it was indeed inhabitted, it looked like some local group of humans had set up shop there and were waiting for someone or something.
The jester counted the numbers, and made a silent signal to the human, well purhaps if I silently killed the one at the doorway and used him as a shield... no too many of them, purhaps waiting cloaked was in order...

The bay groaned as the door began to open, air being drawn out with a hiss. Lights flashed above, and klaxons wailed. Then it stopped. Clearly the assassin had found another terminal, but he'd been overiden from operations. The Captain shook Pater, "Is that a meltabomb you've got?" she asked, insistantly...

Fireteam 2 was securing the abandoned chamber when one of the troopers noticed some tell-tale signs that wouldn't mean anything to the untrained eye. "Look, sir! Droids!" The commander quickly voxxed Kruger. "Sir, we are looking at a minimum of one Combat Servitor, heavily armed. Plasma weaponry."
"Thank you, commander. I am on route."
Shaper Mallok was pleased. The thrill of the chase, the pursuit, was what he lived for. That and the profit, of course. His Kindred quickly outpaced the Tau Firewarriors and followed the tell-tale smell of explosives through the vents. No consuming ; alive, the Inquisitor had said. Well, a limb or two wouldn't be missed..
Pater looked at her. "Blast our way out?" He said, flicking the safety switch on the bomb off.

She shook her head, "No. If we time it right, we can fuse the gears on that sodding door shut," she said, "The walls of this bay are armoured against internal explosions."
The Servitor let out a belated crackle that truly shouldn't have come from its organic mouth. The Techpreist nodded to it, and it took up a position to defend him, leaving him alone near a vent...

Pater nodded. "It's on a 5 second timer. Say when."
The Techpriest barely had time to notice the sounds before a ball of muscle shot out of the vent and tackled him.

She watched it turn, waiting until just the right moment, "Now!"
The heretical techpriest struggled with the first Kroot, a battle of flesh against mechanical muscle, and of mechadendrites against combat reflexes. He pummelled he Kroot's head with two of the mechanical tentacles even as the next kroot came from the vent...

Pater threw the grenade and took cover.
The second Kroot quickly decapitated the Servitor with it's rifle, then jumped into the fray, forcing the Techpriest's legs out from under it.

The techpriest snarled. He was loosing this battle.
He put one of his hands to his head as the mechadendrites fought against the Knoot, and there was a distinct "pfft" as the poisoned dart buried itself in his brain. Perhaps something could be salvaged from his implanted memory engrams, but few would imagine so. In the docking bay, with a loud hiss, the gears controlling the door evaporated, and the captain did what her training suggested in this circumstance. Crouch out of the way and try to avoid inhaling the metal vapour.
Shortly afterwards, the tannoy announced that the situation was resolved. It was a simple matter after that to move the fallen boxes from the doorway, using the same system that had dumped them there in the first place, soon freed of the cancerous influence of the dead techpriest.
Of course, this incident served to make the crew of the station aware of many of their guests...

Prius stood in the docking bay, blissfully unaware of the excitement that had just transpired, but rather curious at the lack of a reception.
His suspicious mind mulled over the possibility that the colonel had forged an order as a means of getting him out of the way...

Kneedr stared up at the ceiling, replying to the recent annoucement. "Yeah, thanks, now where the hell is this cargo crap?" Shaking her head, she set off back toward the docking area, borrowing Vorgrun's vox-set to inform the lieutenant, having long since removed her helmet in the claustrophobic station corridors.
Finished relaying the information, the marksman casually tossed the vox unit back to Vorgrun and cursed every superior she could think of, save the Emperor, for being dropped in the middle of nowhere with no actual orders, as usual.

Chapel, who'd been closing on the Techpriest, only to stop when the Kroot made their intervention, quietly ghosted away from the corpse. Logging into a terminal, he rapidly encrypted a message to be relayed to his control "Tech Priest, apparent renegade, dead, will probably end up under station authority, recommend covert retrieval and analysis by K's technical crew to determine point of origin for future reprisals."

Jolan's vox vibrated. "Go," he replied.
"Jolan," came Severa's voice. "There is a huge dust up going on in one of the docking bays. Xeno's, mechanicus, and what I think are some Inquisitors and their retainers. Sending you the coordinates now, I'll meet you en route."
"Lions," Jolan said to D'eckor. The big guardsman opened one of the duffels and pulled out a Necromundia pattern lascarbine. He reslung the the duffels, gripping the gun one handed.
The two Imperials lopped down the station's corridor's like hunting wolves. "Severa, what kind of xenos?"
"Tau and Kroot. Seperate by the looks of things."
"Give us a heads up before we hit the trouble zone and get your skulls going. I don't want to walk into a guard shooting zone and get killed by the Emperor's loyal servants. It would look bad on my tombstone."

A few hours of waiting and the subsection was once again clear, as there were no witnesses opening the gateway took very little time.
looking down at the current display of the hive world, against how it looked when the Bel-Tain craftworld had removed the infestation of the fallen, differnces were too numerous to mention, a maze of city structures covered the planet, obscuring every refrence point, to the site of the tomb...
purhaps the stones could be of more information.
What had the fallen been doing there anyways?

He only waited a few more moments. If the colonel had tried some sort of trickery to separate him from the regiment... and if he'd fallen for it like the rookie he was, speed was of the essence in finding out what dark designs were afoot. After ordering the shuttle pilot to remain in the bay against his protests, he set out with his bodyguards to... where?
This station was huge. He would have to acquire some sort of local assistance in order to find his way to the command center.
Franner led the way as they exited the docking bay...

Nathan looked around the chambr>He was still barely literate in Eldar but did what he could.
"so Cait do you know WHAT is on the planets surface?"
"A temple or other such structre that leads to the warp?"

Deep beneath the present surface of the planet is both a Webgate left over from when my people fought our fallen breatheren here and elsewhere is a tomb where the Bel-Tain farseers imprisoned the abonimations of our anchient eneomies, The Wraithbone prisons should hold the creatures indefinatly, unless one of them has been freed by outside forces...
From here we could travel to the old base camp, but it would be risky...

Having responded to the sound of explosions and fire, the Huntsmen show up a little late to the party.
"What in the emperor's name is going on here?"
