Whats wrong with him, and many members of his family, is that they hate themselves, they hate their natural apperance. Why? All evidence points to their dad. They have every right to be mad at him since he pretty much denied them any inkling of a normal life. They had no childhood. I'd be mad as fuck too, but I think i would have found some other way of dealing with than totally carving my face to make a new identity.

My other theroy is that sometime after MJ finished THILLER(last good album) he was stolen by akiens and replaced with a replicant(i.e Last Starfighter) but something horrible happened causeing the replicant to go mad and insane and only has the musical knowledge of MJ circa 1985 causing him to make music thatsounds pretty much the same since then.
