At this point I'm going to have the Affront basically disengaging from the war with the PRC intact and having spent the next few decades heavily building their firepower up.

Although I haven't been on SDnet in over a month, rumors of an STGOD have drawn me back. I will definitely be in this, probably as a regional or major power (somewhere in the middle suits me just fine). NO idea what kind of race I want to be helming this time through, but def. something mroe politically involved than the Krell. Meantime, I need to read up on the old STGOD2 and start brainstorming and..... gah, I'll post something more complete later. But I'm in.

Have room for an additional minor power?

Well, I would like to re-visit the Stuart Corporation :)
They're still there, happy to play around :)

Guesstimate the Corporation would be major or grand power now.

Could I just unearth the old OOB for the Stuart Corp and brush it up a little? And are there any additions to the last time?

Of course, Vohu. Feel free to post an OOB and join.

Don't let him in Thridfain! Rogue 9 played with in Captain Tycho's D&D game and regreted it. I seriously doubt he's learned a damned thing.

That was awhile ago.........

Thirdfan gave me tenative permission to continue. So I wrote up a preliminary OOB. Take a look.

You has the fucking the replicators?

No, fuck that.

You'll note I got rid of the replicator drone's ability to produce more, only the 'mother bugs' can do that. That way their numbers (while high), arn't 'SG-1 unstopable villian' high.

Please read the OOB, you'll find the way their portrayed there their just another power that uses boarding parties at their primary tactic.

I did read the OOB. I found nothing in it to promote confidence in you.

Yet you didn't find anything perticularly damaging either did you? Other then the name.

Why not give me a chance? We both know that if, hypotheticly, I was allowed to join it would be in a one-slip-up and your out sence. So by letting me join all you risk is the potential for one instnatly mod-removed minor godmode, but if I really have reformed (which I have), you'll have added one more good RP'er.

Plus you'll have given me a chance to start working-off the bad rep from that damned FR game.

Rogue gave you a chance in that D&D game, from what I've been told he regrets it.

Let me blunt. You have given no sign of even understanding what you did wrong, nevermind a desire to actually reform your behavior. You have merely bleated about changing and how you should be allowed to play now.

Yeah, because we all know that since then i've had a chance to actually prove that i'm a better RP'er........

Oh, wait, no I havn't.

And that D&D game was a long time ago.

Ah, a lack of understanding of what I did wrong? Well..........without going into a drawn out version. I made it so the game was not fun for other players (by being a munchkin, among other things), and was an exceedingly bad sport when it came to losing.

Laz, upon a review of your nation, plus the requests of a number of STGODers... I'm afraid, no dice. You aren't welcome.

Would someone please remove Laz's big block of text from the OOB thread?

seeing as the fstgod didn't sort of seemed to die down, i'd be interested in doing this stgod if someone can toss me a PM with a bit more detail about the setup (as i wasn't around for STGOD2 i don't think). i've got a few ideas i definitely wouldn't mind putting down.

I'll request the same. I know what I'd like to run, but I'd like an idea about what information is absolutely needed in the OOBs (reading them isn't really helping, since each provides a different level of information).

Can I make the same request?

Request now echoed in triplicate. I've been churning vague ideas and such, but with effectively zero blanket theme information, tis hard.

Lessee...

Hundreds of years ago, is the RL present. Since then, multiple great powers have grown up, and began warring across the galaxy. These included the Boyd Collective, the Star Kingdom of Serenity, and the Lost. Somewhere around 200 years ago, the galaxy was attacked by forces led by Queen Halite. Afterwords, pretty much every power fell into decline, some more so than others. The ones remaining of those original Great Powers, have formed an understanding known as the Quadruple Entente.

An unspecifed time from the current game time, another war broke out amongst the major powers of that day. It resulted in several worlds being effectively destroyed, and one power disintergrating.

Necessary components of you OOB are your power's name, a rough listing of your ships(with a rough power level compared to the standard ship), and what the hell your power is like(demographics, government, brief history, religion(if any)).

Given that the Black Alliance came out of hte last one with most of their own industry aboard ships, and alot of Corneria's industry in their too, any objections to me being a Grand Power out in the Major Magellenic Cloud where I ran to after my Entente whopping?
