Right on, DS...I think I phrased it the way he was INTERPRETING it, which is all he does.

I'm really quite surprised you've hung on for this long, Servo. I've thrown in the towel, or "took it in the ass" as he put it. I still frequent the place a little, but most of my postsn now consist of a row of Borg heads (their emoticon for boredom).

Personally, right now I'm sick of those idiots. I went a few rounds with the hairball last night. he has changed his story so many times its absurd.

Speed: I post about a dozen canon examples of warp being below 10,000c. Most of them were below 1000 with the highest reliable one being 2700. He retorts that he has some that are slightly higher than that (based on one interpretation of dialogue) and somehow this justifies his personal interpretation from ST 5 of traveling half way across the galaxy in a couple days which requires orders of magnitude greater speed.

Firepower: he repeatedly insists that Skin of Evil, Rise and TDiC show 100+ megaton level firepower. In the example of SOE, I pointed out that the "fireball" disappears far to rapidly to be that large. His response was that it takes that much energy to make a fireball that big. He focuses on ONE piece of evidence and ignores the rest. And then he has the nerve to repeat the old moronic argument that the TESB asteroids weren't really vaporized, even though there is ZERO evidence of fragments. He tries to use low EU figures to try and contradict the ICS numbers.

SW speed. He actually tried to use a CG CD cover picturing a dark blue moon-lit sky to defend Darkstar's AOTC speed analysis where the rabid stupid asshole actually tries to argue nighttime on Coruscant even though there is clearly light blue sky in the picture.

Is is just me or are the Trekkies getting dumber by the day?

It's worse than that. He's not even focusing on that one piece of evidence; he's only focusing one aspect of one piece of evidence. It's like looking at a white car which is doing 50 km/h and focusing solely on the "white" part in order to claim that it was going so fast that it blurred the camera's colour resolution.

I noticed he has yet another new screen name (first it was DMJay, then DMJII, now its DMJ2) indicating he was banned again. Its nice to know that the mods there HAVE done something about his trolling and flaming but the fact that he can just sign up again is a little disturbing.
