I just saw Revelations last night. It was okay. I can steal a few story ideas from it. But it got boring after a while.

Zhanna was ugly. The main character definitely needs a nose job.

Interesting since the Star Wars films themselves aren't always deadpan faces and serious moments.
True, but I imagine that if the "Star Wars prequels suck 'cause they're for kids and Lucas should be more like JMS" crowd had their way, they would be.

While Jar-Jar's wild Tatooine antics and Anakin's "oops, I think I accidentaly destroyed the entire enemy fleet" feats would be considered extremely childish humour by anyone over 8 years old, I'm sure we all loved R2's crazy plans and Han Solo's scruffy-looking-nerf-herder manners and humour, and his tough-love moments with Leia.

I can't remember the title, but that wasn't anywhere near serious (well the first half was dead serious, heh, so more the shock!). Troops is itself a parody and full of humor (albeit dark). PA Wars? Star Dudes? C'mon, there's always exceptions...
Legacy of the Jedi.
I was kinda disappointed about that one. For the first half, I was thinking "Wow. A non-comedy fanfilm that doesn't suck. Could this finally be the one that breaks the rule?" Then, Mentos.
It was clever. And I maintain that the scene where they battle on the bridge, with the backwards lightsaber blocks, is one of the greatest fan-film lightsaber moments of all time.
